I was not informed this would be the case, nor was I asked if I'd be okay with old branding (which I'm not). When I asked Regent to remake my signs with the correct/current branding, they offered for me to place a "custom order" for new signs at my own expense. This is not how a company treats their clients, at least not if they want them to stay. As a local REALTOR®, I will be giving my future business to another company.

The shop is across the street from Value Village on Whyte Ave. The print quality and paper is excellent. Julio was super friendly. They are fast and efficient. I will definitely be going back when I have more printing jobs that my home printer can't handle.

I must say that the response is far from what I expected from someone who runs a business. We opted to fix the mistake ourselves - taking 3 hours of our time to unstaple, perforate and rebind 1000 raffle tickets - as we didn't have time to get a reprint done. We finally got an email back tonight.... From the email my wife received, "Karma is interesting. I was so busy last week, past 11pm 3 times, plus dealing with something personal I didn't even work order this job. The inference being that most likely it never would have been invoiced and accounted for either, certainly not the first time that's happened when things are crazy. Further to that, mistakes happen at the best of times and it certainly wouldn't be the first time I "forgot" an invoice over something that wasn't corrected. However, to come in yesterday morning after the weekend to receive notification that you two took it upon yourselves to denigrate my business publically in a temper tantrum over virtually nothing, twice, well now you can have the invoice as I just processed it especially for you tonight. But thanks for that as now I don't feel bad about this at all and I really don't need to hear anymore from either of you again." This email infuriates me. To the point where I called and left a voicemail when I saw it. This is not the way to deal with an unsatisfied customer. I get that the guy is busy - most of us are - it's life. But you do not make your client feel like their issues are petty and not worth your trouble. All that had to be done was to own up to the error and it would have been fine - I probably wouldn't have felt the need to write the scathing review I did. PS: Since you apparently get notices about this, Bill, as I said in my voicemail, all you had to do was admit that you made a mistake - it happens - I don't think our request of an adjustment in the cost was unreasonable considering that we did not receive what we asked for - no matter how minor you think the issue is. If you have an issue with my review, take it up with me. You may think it's" virtually nothing" as you put it so eloquently, but he bottom line is you did not deliver what we asked for.

Primarily dependant on digital print jobs as all the presses and bindery equipment are past their life expectancy. The colour from their press department is very inconsistent while the Bindery equipment is dated and badly in need of parts replacement. Improper layouts from the prepress department add extra frustration on even the simplest of jobs. The working conditions are cramped with barely enough room to move material in the production area. Low pay, coupled with the employee being expected to wear multiple hats, and poor planning on jobs are primary reasons a person should consider employment elsewhere. Dealing with an excessively moody owner who demonstrates, on a daily basis, that he has no control on his personal anger management issues resulting in his raging verbal abuse toward the employees is again a reason to avoid employment with this company. The owner's micromanaging and inconsistent instructions causes even more confusion for the employee. My mother was unsure how to do this, so I called around from my home in Gibsons BC, and talked to Shazad who assured me that he would be happy to walk her through it. He was waiting outside for her when she arrived and was so kind and put her at ease. He printed out the documents and even pointed out that she had missed a signature. I would recommend them highly, best customer service I've ever seen. I joked that he should call himself Shazam! because it was magical.
