This place always has really good coffee - I love what I get every time. But the last visit (1/23) nobody working there had their masks over their noses. All employees had their masks under their noses or around their chins, even when taking orders. Only a few had gloves on. Even customers approaching the employees at the cash register had their masks below their noses/mouths. I love this place but I won't be coming back for a while because I do not feel safe. read more

Okay! Seriously just stopped in at this place and picked up a Med. Vanilla Shakarato (iced coffee)! It is so smooth! It's their Italian coffee brewed with a ice, vanilla syrup, and mixed with sugar and half & half. So delicious! The staff were super friendly and the shop was your typical "coffee shope" look however there was a nice mix of different types of folks buying to-go orders and sitting-in. The prices are quite a bit less than Starbucks, for the quality, I say it was a win, win for me. I will be back! P.S. Please build one out near North Cypress or Vintage Park area! read more

I just happened to drive past Minuti Coffee this morning and saw they were open! They are located in the old Starbucks which moved down the street. The interior has a posh Italian charm complete with a gelato case. It has a very nice ambiance with pretty chandeliers. The employees are very nice and know their coffee. Okay I'll be the first to admit it, I'm a coffee addict; I don't think I can live without the stuff. That's why when a Minuti opened so close to my home, I was ecstatic. I've tried their coffee in downtown, so I had very high expectations. When I arrived, the friendly barista greeted me and asked me if it was my first time here. She then told me about how Minuti actually imports its coffee beans and that with their rewards gift card, every 4 or 5 drinks I can get a free one. Additionally, since I bought the gift card, she only charged me $1 for my grande creamicino moka dark chocolate (usually $5.25). I'm happy to say that I've been back multiple times since, and I haven't been disappointed. The creamicino moka dark chocolate is pretty sweet and perfect to drink on a hot day. The sexy Cubano is a small shot of coffee that is great quality and will really wake you up. My favorite thing thus far on the menu, however, is the godfather. It's a layered drink with espresso, cream, and I think vanilla that has, not only layers of different flavors, but of different temperatures (cold, hot, and warm) as well. I was instructed to drink it fast before everything mixes, and I gotta say, it was delicious. It was the right amount of sweetness for me and it definitely woke me up and kept me functioning all day. The contrast of temperature was also a nice twist. My only complaint is that they seem to be training baristas right now, so service is a bit slow. I remember having a Minuti at lone star years ago and I was excited too get a cup of coffee from somewhere besides Starbucks. However, the quality has gone down since I last tried their coffee years ago - HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! They charge premium prices for subpar coffee. It was so busy and bustlin' when I walked in. People were studying and some people were chatting among themselves. The barista was super friendly and greeted me with a big smile even though it was one hour before closing. He was super sweet! CHAI LATTE Sooooooo.. I am a huge chai latte addict and there are only a few places that get it down to the way I like it and sadly.. Minuti isn't one of them. I can taste the chai and I love the thick consistency, but it was way too sweet for my liking. Even when the barista added some cinnamon it didn't have enough spice for me. I really wanted to like this place, but I just can't have my chai lattes too sweet. I really like spiced chai lattes and theirs just aren't on that level. I would give a lower rating, but the ambiance of this location is really nice for a study area and I can see myself coming here to try other things, but definitely not the chai latte. I have been familiar with minuti and it's coffee since around the time when it came to exist. It has come a long way. Number one, I didn't get crazy chilled by the a/c unit, which coffee shops typically love to do. Two, aesthetic was gorgeous as it's always been. Three, staff was the perfect amount of friendly; not up in my grill the entire time, but ready to answer any questions I had. And four, my coffee was made promptly and tasted AMAZING. I've been reluctantly drinking Starbucks at least once every other week because it's on my route to work. I'm eating keto, so I didn't think minuti would have unwhipped heavy cream. I was wrong! I ordered a regular coffee with heaving whipping cream and 3 pumps of sugar free caramel (it was a splurge day for me) and it was the tastiest coffee I've ever had. read more

To all my coffee lovers.... You have to try this great place! I know the go to place is often those other options but step outside of your comfort zone and try the coffee from this little spot filled with class. I stopped here to study for a couple of hours and I was really surprised to find out that their coffee surpassed some of my favorite places. The coffee was smooth with just the right amount of sweetness. I ordered a medium size cup of caramel mocha and indulged in the taste of coffee that I love so much. They have plenty of endless options. I met the manager that day and he was exceptional. Very kind and attentive to his customers. I cannot express how much it makes a difference when management or staff go over and beyond to make your experience wonderful. So thank you for the wonderful service. They have pastries and other snacks like any other coffee shop. The only downfall would be the outlets for connecting your phones or laptops. I think there may have been only a total of 2 or so. It may be due to that it is quite a small shop and it isn't really meant for studying or working. Which I can understand on the business aspect of it. I have yet to be disappointed by a drink at Minuti. It's a little more on the expensive side but definitely worth every penny! I've tried the Dirty Chai Latte with almond milk and it's amazing- pretty much my go to drink. Last night I wanted something with less caffeine so I opted for the Cioco Delice with Hazelnut. It tasted like liquid Nutella but not super sweet, surprisingly! The ambiance is great and so is the service. I went there to study and the lighting was great, although the tables are a bit small. The smaller tables were fine for studying alone but you may need to stake out for the 2 big tables if you'll be studying with people. Overall, it was a good studying environment. Was on my way out to hit the road and I needed a nice pick-me-up and this place had been on my radar ever since the old Starbucks shut down in the same spot. The gentleman on duty greeted me cheerfully and gave me the lowdown on all their coffees and blends. They're Italian based which is great because I love bold and robust flavors. Like a kid in a candy store I couldn't make up my mind! Any coffee place I visit has to be put through the iced coffee test. He introduced me to the shakeratto! Their signature iced latte with a hint of hazelnut flavoring. It was great! Bold with a nice mellow finish with flavor that lasts even after you've sipped it. Then The Gadfathah came out. Yes I just said Gadfathah like Boston/New Yorker hybrid accent! It looks like a latte, costs a latte but when you drink it you know why! Italian espresso on top, layered over creamy half n half layered over the flavoring of your choice. I normally don't chug these like a shot but you almost have to in order to get the combo of flavors on your palette! "How did you like it?!" They asked... And I said "I didn't... Because the experience was over too quickly!" They laughed and were glad I loved they drink. They should call it "The Monica Bellucci." Beautiful, layered, complex and in and out of your life in a blink of an eye. If you are looking for a Starbucks alternative, this is it. After being a Starbucks addict, I decided to try Minuti and was pleasantly surprised. When I first tried Minuti, I wasn't sure what to order but the workers were very helpful. They described multiple drinks and then offered to make me a iced caramel macchiato (caramel syrup, espresso, and milk). It was smooth and tasted sweet but not overly sweet. Another great drink they offer are the Ice-Os (equivalent to Starbuck's frappucinos). These too are way better than Starbucks' equivalent, always perfectly blended. They can also be made with Almond milk, and you can barely notice the difference. The employees are always helpful and nice. They greet you when you walk in and say thanks for coming when you leave. I have also noticed that several of the workers refer to many customers by their name and have even memorized their orders. Overall great service and drinks! My one suggestion is that they could use some more comfortable seating like couches for those who want to come and work for a while. However, finding a seat and table is never a problem. read more

I love the Shakerato here. I usually get the caramel, but the vanilla is super tasty as well. It's basically shots of espresso shaken with ice, topped with some milk. If you have ever gotten Starbucks Doubleshot from Starbucks, it's basically the same thing with less of a burnt flavor to it. Starbucks quality of espresso has NOTHING on Minuti quality. I'm not sure what they do, or maybe it's the quality of the espresso beans, but the quality of Minuti shines through and gives you a great, smooth drink that packs a huge punch. Get a large and you'll be up until 2am :) read more

There was miscommunication between the barista and cashier. I thought it was funny, but also slightly weird when he didn't remake my drink until I looked extremely surprised. My husband and I came here to grab coffee and it was so bad, I'm shocked they use coffee in their company name. The latte I received was a disgusting joke, I would even deem it drinkable. Literally any other coffee shop you go to will have better coffee. The milk was basically a burnt poorly steamed joke and my latte tasted like someone added burned milk to watered down trash. Absolutely appalling, we both were extremely dissappointed. The dirty chai was very tasty though, which a friend got. This location is "meh." The staff doesn't seem very intelligent, and the feeling inside is a place trying too hard to be Starbucks. Well, they aren't Starbucks & will never be anywhere close to Starbucks. I love Minuti, and am an avid visitor of their Sugar Land location. It's so awesome to have a Minuti that's closer to work! My husband and I ordered a Shakerato and a Biospresso. Thankfully I was not disappointed with the quality compared to the other Minuti locations I visit. The staff were very welcoming and struck up some small talk with me. Some of the staff seemed very knowledgeable, and others were obviously still in training. However, my orders were perfect and I had no complaints.
