Throughout my matter, I did not see progress toward trial, and I felt pressured rather than supported. I was shocked when I was told that proceeding to trial could cost as high as $150,000, which made me feel that the fees were escalating without clear justification or a realistic explanation of what work would be done for that amount. Overall, I did not feel that my case was handled with transparency, reasonable billing practices, or genuine care for my situation.
