There I got cool jackets and cute dresses for nephews and nieces and always for a good price. I was therefore delighted to see that Dublin has its very own branch in the Dundrum Shopping Centre. This is a French clothing brand that has been a favourite among moms and dads across the world for a long time. The shop stocks clothes, shoes, accessories for children and newborns (0-14) that are of good quality and look stylish. Your kid will even like shopping here!

Despite the higher prices, I find myself buying something for my son every time I go into the store. The service is also very friendly and in the past they have discussed certain clothes running small or larger and to purchase different sizes, which was really useful advice that you would not always get from other stores.

H&M is a huge store all over the world - it operates in 34 countries and employs over 74,000 people...that's a lot of shop workers! Their stuff is young, funky and fashionable and everything from their kids range to their jewellery line is up to the minute, on trend and really cheap. Their store in Dundrum is split over 3 levels, with one floor dedicated to kids wear. I heart h&m!

Personally on my most recent visit I just couldn't be bothered and left without buying anything! I also noticed that the price of their knitwear (sweaters & cardigans) is higher than usual. Considering most knitwear doesn't wash very well I sure as hell wouldn't be forking out €50 for a cardigan. Think I'll go get 3 for that price from penny's!! Sort it out H&M cos you were a firm favourite of mine for a while.

There's lots of colorful gear for the youngins that's honestly just as fashionable as grown-up clothes from the likes of Baby Phat, Ecko and others. The prices here are very reasonable, so you can raise a fashion plate without breaking the bank, no problem!

The British shop assistant who served me was lovely, warm, helpful and everything you could hope a shop assistant would be. She was genuinely interested in why I would be in a baby shop (I don't really have the word 'mother' plastered across my forehead) and in who I was shopping for. She gave me space to rustle around in the selection of babywear and then advised me on which of my choices would be most suitable. I found her to be extremely helpful, considering that shopping for baby clothes isn't one of my strong points. The baby clothes in Premaman are gorgeous! I know a lot of women get clucky just looking at them, so if you're susceptible, avoid. Premaman is a Belgian company and as such has a very chic range of clothing and accessories suitable for newborns to 10 year olds. They also do prams and strollers and other such necessities. This is a great store to find a precious outfit for your newborn niece, nephew, grandchild or other deserving youngster. Prices are around 10 euro for a shirt, 12 for a jumpsuit and 7 for a hat (this is in the newborn - 12 months section), so it won't cost you an arm and a leg either. The shop was voted as one of Dublin's best in 2008 by The Dubliner magazine, and that's a praise well deserved. The clothes in here sure are adorable. Quality fabrics, soft and cuddly. And the shoes! I just love those gorgeous little leather boots, types you can picture on tiny feet running rings around their parents on the weekly stroll up Champs-Elysees, back in the old days. But as cute as these clothes are, you need to be pretty loaded to be able to dress up your young ones from top to toe in here. Looking for a pressie for a nice or nephew, and you want something more special than a shirt or dress from H&M, you will fall in love with not only one but many, many pieces. But it hurts to pay €59 for a jumper for a newborn when you know it will be way to small in two months. So, the rating. Milk & Cookies really deserves all the four stars it gets, even though I sadly can't afford to shop all my baby-presents here.

Its most-unique greenhouse architecture allows so much natural light to come through the glass roof. I absolutely loved the look of it. We took a stroll through all three floors. Having never been to the country, I was unfamiliar with most of the shops, but I took note of the few I recognized (Boots, TK Maxx, Claire's.) We were momentarily tempted to try the Chinese restaurant upstairs but thought better of it. Restrooms are also located on the uppermost level. Not super bustling, seemed to be going the way of most malls. And although I wasn't taken by any store in particular, I enjoyed the structure's design & seeing what a Dublin shopping centre has to offer.
