The pad Thai was good, pretty standard, and I was pleasantly surprised at how much food came in the box. The green curry was middling - good assortment of veggies, but the fried tofu which should've been the main protein attraction was sparse and not a great texture. The spiciness level was on point though!! The jasmine rice was perfectly made. And the golden puffs were really good, made with real puff pastry. They held up well even with our 25minute walk back to our AirBnb too! The inside of the restaurant looked really comfortable and clean, and they have a few tables outside as well for days with better weather. If you're used to American portion sizes, go ahead and order the large. It's plenty of food, and I like having leftovers, which we did even after stuffing our faces!

Thai food can be very hit or miss for me here in NZ but this place did it pretty well! Pad Thai and Tom Yum for me. The Tom Yum wasn't as good as I've had, flavor was weak, not so spicy, but the pork Pad Thai made up for it. Cooked perfectly! I also loved their Thai iced coffee. As far as New Zealand eating goes this place was reasonably priced. I always tell myself, today is the day I order something other than Pad Thai or Red Curry but then my server comes, I open the menu, and awkwardly point to something random and say I'll just get Pad Thai.. Maybe next time lol Street parking. Reservations are accepted but you don't really need one on a weekday. It does fill up on weekends though so plan accordingly. They also do takeout, which is a big vibe on lazy weekends. Is it a top tier Thai spot? No.. But it's local and good enough to come back. But I think I'll try the other spot first so I can compare my options ; )

The aloo gobi had a good proportion of cauliflower and potato, and it was rich enough without being too oily. Plenty of rice came with everything.
