The school is extremely unprofessional, and unorganized. My daughter was enrolled with them for 3…read moreyears and has done multiple classes with them. They wanted me to move my daughter down a level but I am unable to take her that day. So the teacher called me and was extremely rude and even said "if I have to put in the effort to come to work then you can put in the effort to take your daughter to class". After this call my daughter told me "how can I return if the teacher doesn't want me in her class". Dance should be done for the love of dance, the children do their best and practice because they love it , they don't need to feel humiliated to belittled. The teachers should be better educated on how to deal with children and have as good of a understanding for child psychology as they do for dance.

This is a first class dance school! My daughters have been dancing here for 5 years now. The ballet…read moreprogram is ranked top 5 in Canada. Anyway, they were super nice and helpful and asked about what kind of dancing I do and where. I tried on about 5 pairs of pants in varying sizes and it took me about an hour but they didn't even blink an eye. Totally sweet team there! The pants are fantastic and for less than Lululemon or a similar style with a lot of nice extra features like an iPod pocket and runchable pant cuffs. Highly recommended for dance gear!

The process was lovely and the fitter was knowledgeable and nice. Being my first time I was NOT knowledgeable and felt unsure. I left with a pair of Suffolk Prequels. I showed them to my instructor because I had a gut feeling they were not right. She didn't like them either. I returned for a re-fitting. I had the same fitter. We returned to Suffolks again and I ended up with a pair of Suffolk Spotlights. I showed them to my instructor and they were much better. Once I started my class in them, they fell apart VERY quickly and my foot began sinking in them by week 6. The shank split and they were too wide. I should mention I was taking an intro class where most of our exercises were at the barre. Everyone I know from these intro classes was given Suffolks at the Shoe Room. Everyone I know selected a different brand for their second pair. Given the emphasis on Suffolk shoes from this shop, I tried a different place and had a better experience and ended up with better shoes.
