We had family vacation photos taken at a Florida beach in July. Our photographer, Tina, was a…read morelovely person and very polite and easygoing, if not professional. She suggested the venue and it was beautiful, but I hired a photographer because I don't always know what looks right and I wanted someone to take care of that. The session was short and she rarely suggested poses, placement of individuals, or specific locations on the beach, and left all of that to us, always asking what we wanted to do and what picture we wanted. The pictures are clear and look good, but there are a few things that are off. She only sometimes gave us notice to smile. She did not ensure that everyone was looking at the camera. She rarely suggested rearranging people. In one shot, the sand in front of us was full of footprints and beach fodder, and in others, there are spaces in the pictures that look odd, and parts of people's faces are blocked. Just a few minor things that take away from the beauty and balance of the photos. I have no idea how many pictures were taken, but she failed to include one that I specifically requested. While I like some of the results, I was far from impressed with many. Finally, we were told that we would receive the pictures, along with a separate code to download them, in a few days. I did say to take her time, as I would not be viewing them until I returned home, but I had to request them when we did, and then the code to download them. What we initially received included a link to order prints, etc. from the photographer but no code to download. I would recommend the photographer for candid shots at weddings and events, but be prepared to check the pictures for the things mentioned before the end of the session.

My family had an amazing experience working with them for our wedding photography. They took hundreds of photos and had so many great ideas. They really found a way to express the atmosphere of our wedding in the photos they took. Catarina also did a photoshoot in studio with my baby girl and the whole experience was fantastic. She blew bubbles and came up with creative ways to position my daughter. Even though my daughter cried a bit at first, she got her smiling and we have some beautiful photos to show for it.
