The outside, as well as the inside, is very inviting. There are hostesses that seat you with a menu, and eventually a server will come around to take your order. The menu is pretty extensive; they serve juices, smoothies, coffees, breakfast, brunch, and linner. I ordered a Café Cultura (which was basically a mocha with Baileys), and a croissant. It took quite some time to get either of my items, noticing my croissant was given to the wrong table, and later on my coffee doing the same. I think the delivering system is disorganized, as well as the communication with the front and back of the house. The coffee tasted good, but was scalding hot. Literally, my tongue is missing some tastebuds. The croissant was nothing out of the norm. To pay, they give you this card that had your order on it and you bring it to the register to pay before you leave. I'm telling you this just in case you don't speak Portuguese, as many of them don't speak English.

For those who may not trust…read morea mall food court it is important to understand that in Brazil the malls are truly a destination for a safe and fun environment so the food is often the destination itself and not just a collection of low quality chains like is often the case in the US. Brazilian cakes and desserts in the south of the country (like Florianópolis) are on a league of their own for freshness and excess. This is NOT traditional European, which are more restrained. The southern Brazilian sweets are very sweet and take pride in joining every delicious ingredient in a single dessert. For those untrained in the art of extreme sweets, I recommend sharing with a friend and getting a black (or barely sweetened) coffee and eat slowly. Either way, this place is great for the quality, freshness and friendly service for what it is meant to be served.
