I didn't get to try them. The pricing is high, but that's not unusual given the market price of Maine lobster. It was a good portion. There was an overflow of lobster from the split bun. I was very happy with my lobster roll. The service was pretty quick considering there is only one guy taking the orders and making the rolls. I didn't expect the roll to be packaged so neatly. They have their own branded lobster roll take away containers. Kerby's Nursery had tables and chairs set up in their garden. The ambiance was great! I just wish that there was another person taking orders. I did wait quite awhile for someone to greet me. I was greeted immediately and sat in a table near the entrance. I could have done an alcoholic drink, but I decided to go easy and take the passion fruit juice with milk (5.50) instead. It had a light flavor, but still pretty good. It was a bit too heavy with the milk. Almost like a smoothy. For my entree, I took the grilled shrimp with rice and vegetables as my sides (20 dollars). For the price, the portions were quite generous. 12 pieces of small grilled shrimp with a large amount of rice and ample amount of veggies. The shrimp was sadly a little overdone as it got a bit rubbery and hard to take out from the skewer. But it was flavored nicely. The vegetables were more enjoyable as it was steamed and seasoned nicely. The rice was fine. Since there was a good amount of food, I took some back to my hotel room. I skipped dessert as I was getting too full. The service was good and friendly. It seemed to be a family restaurant as there looked to be just 3 servers and maybe a chef or two in the kitchen. The dining area is pretty small and can get cramped, but there was a live singer singing Spanish Latin songs and getting the crowd energized. Outdoor seating is available as well. Bathroom was outside and you need a key to get in. Unfortunately, the cow at the entrance was a not safe to mount, but the mini donkey next to it didn't mind a silly cowboy to sit on it for a quick photo op. For the price paid, Monseratte offers decent food and generous portion for the price. It is very casual and quite small, but if you go at the right time, you can enjoy some live music as well.
