Tried their "Prime Rib Sandwich". It's huge. It's great. Tastes like prime rib should but on a sandwich. There pies and cakes are out of this world. On thursdays "All you can eat STEAK" I think it was only $12.95 Prices are very fair for what they are selling. Eunice's is a great lunch venue and ANNA's is the best sandwich, pies, and dinners in the River Valley area. I will eat there again and again. read more

To be fair I am hard to please when it comes to chicken fried steak but there was nothing to bring me back to this place and no reason not to try it if you are nearby and like typical café food. read more

I think Miss Anna's is among the better Southern-style restaurants in Fort Smith - certainly better than Calico County (blech). They have a number of daily specials and we were lured in the first time by their all-you-can-eat steak on Thursdays. The steak was flavored and seasoned well. I'm also a fan of their chicken fried chicken, white gravy, and their macaroni and cheese. They serve a stewed tomato and zucchini side that reminds me so much of the type of food my grandparents would make and it's amazing. I'll have to try more of the pies before I form an opinion on those, but I know Miss Anna's is locally known for their pies. read more

I fully admit that I'm a bit of a food snob, but since moving here from Chicago I've had to change my expectations a bit. That being said, Miss Anna's is a perfectly good place to hit. Not everything on the menu is perfect, but the food was good and the service was good and the pie was great. (Honestly, it's the pie that bumped them up to a 4 star rating.) I had the pulled pork which was really good. It was moist and tender and just the way pulled pork should taste. I ordered with the green beans which I did not like at all as I could tell they were canned. I also had the sweet potato fries (fairly certain they were frozen) and the coleslaw which was different, but good. My fiancee had the grilled chicken which he enjoyed and the fried okra and fried squash. Our daughter had the mac & cheese. Now, is this food gourmet? No. Is it disgusting? No. But it is family friendly and affordable. The pies are what really seal the deal. They were amazingly yummy and there aren't a lot of good dessert places in Ft. Smith. read more

This place sucks. I called in a to go order of steak and eggs. When I got there, they took my money and then said, "Oh we forgot to make it. Can you go stand against a wall for 20 minutes?" So I did. I should've just taken my money and left. By the time I got my food it was somehow already cold despite the fact that they "just made it". The steak was charred to a cold crisp and the eggs were rubber. I will never go back and I urge others to avoid this place. Their food is literally garbage. read more

I got bacon, eggs and pancakes. The eggs and pancakes were good. I ordered the bacon crisp, and it tasted a little like charcoal. I was satisfied with the food. This is one the families favorite restaurants in FS. We live the Kicken Chicken and the Ranch burger. They have really great pie also

The food was amazing. Most items are made when ordered which i liked. Staff were very friendly. I asked our waitress what her fav. 3 things were which she took the the time to explain not just what they were why but why as well. I got the Ranch Burger which i wasn't sure i would be down with ranch on a burger(chicken yes beef no)! But the waitress said her mom loved it. So I tried it, amazing! Would defientley go back. And its a local place local atmosphere. I did witness a little spat between two co-workers while visiting but hey it was dinner and a show 4 stars 4.5 mostly based on flavor of food extensive menu size and friendly staff. read more

I don't know what all the fuss is about mrs anna's, I had supper there tonight and it wasn't special a tall. The roast beef and brown gravy was ok. The carrots were good, and the pie was good, but village inn's pies has an edge there, now the worst is the potato salad had mayo in it instead of mustard, the pinto beans were not seasoned, and the corn bread had way too much sugar in it, whereas good corn bread has no sugar, or jalapeños in it.Now maybe the needs keep cooking pies, and get someone to cook who knows how to cook. I wasn't impressed, so it will be long time before I eat there again.Sorry but the truth can set you free. read more

The Southwest Chicken salad was really bad. It was lettuce, a large amount of tomatoes, 2 rings of purple onion, and some stale corn strips on there so they can call it southwest. The chicken (grilled) on it tasted terrible as well and was cold. I took two bites and sent it back. I ordered the 4 vegetable platter in place of the salad and was disappointed that it was all canned. The best thing was the fried okra. My husband felt bad for me and offered me the steak he was eating. It looked like canned meat and did not taste good. I'm not a picky eater and I have never sent a plate of food back at any restaurant. I have ate here before and thought it was delicious so I had no reservations for going. I'm still upset about it as it was shocking how they cook so poorly and charge you like it's Texas Roadhouse. It was a total rip off for the quality you provide. The waitress was very friendly but kept forgetting the things we asked for. It was just an overall bad experience and waste of money. I won't go back. read more

Ms. Jones absolutely loved Miss Anna's and she thinks you will too! She rolled in last week with her rock star hubby in tow for a rustic Southern breakfast as we toured Ms. Jones beloved state of Arkansas. Happiness was definitely in the air as both of us ordered good ol' fashioned biscuits and gravy, sausage, a small order of hash browns and a few cups of piping hot coffee to wash it all down with...bliss! Everything was perfect: warm, fluffy, moist biscuits, nice thick and creamy sausage gravy, perfectly cooked hash browns. Yum, yum, and more yum! The service was fast, the restaurant was spotless--it really doesn't get much better than Miss Anna's if you're looking for a good old fashioned, stick-to-your-ribs meal. We were so full when we were done with these heaping plates of deliciousness, we got a little sad when we saw the gorgeous pies and freshly baked spice cake knowing we didn't have room to indulge just a little more.
