I called the title-holding bank, Chase, every day. They kept on lying to me, putting me on hold, and transferring my calls halfway around the third world. Once he took charge, I received my title in less than a month, and a few months later, the case was settled to my satisfaction. I did not know that there was a law that says once you pay off your vehicle, the bank has a limited time to give you the title to your car. Chase Bank still lied and tried to make it my fault for moving 2 years ago to a different state. They lied that they were not notified of the move, and it confused them. Little did they know that I kept every correspondence on file. Among them was a payment voucher from the Bank sent to the address they claimed not to know. This puts recipients in the position of ignoring that information or paying for court records (~$20) to investigate whether it is actually them or someone with the same name. A professional law firm is equipped to investigate on their end at a lower cost (e.g. knowing which pages of which records to pull to cross-reference an address, likely lowering the court record cost to $1-2) prior to sending targeted letters. Kazerouni Law Group does not bother, they have likely done a cost-benefit calculation that marks this level of diligence as not worth their time and money. They prefer that the recipients of their ads shoulder the higher cost.
