We arrived 15 minutes before our appointment and none of the pre-work was done between the primary doctor and this place. You would think follow up and planning would be a common business practice. Nope. Luckily we had back up paperwork. The floors are filthy and hair and stains are all over them. They may not have been cleaned for ages. We fill out paperwork and wait far past our scheduled appointment time. Once we are finally called in (30 minutes after our scheduled appointment), we are brought to the dirty holding cell where a nurse asks,"do you know why you're here?" No. We only (a) had been through the battery of other doctors and tests to get this appointment scheduled as a next step, (b) filled out the numerous forms outlining why we are here and health history, and (c) handed your office clerk the paperwork outlining tests and the reason for the appointment. Asking again as "protocol" is fucktardery. When questioned, the nurse then was bitchy. The doctor came into the filthy holding cell an hour after the scheduled appointment time. Our time is clearly less valuable than his. Why make an appointment if you have zero plans on keeping it? His first question was, "do you know why you're here?" No doctor we don't. Hopefully you can help shed some light on this mystery for us. He explained the issues to us but had a creepy manor about him and when we said we have a second opinion scheduled he seemed to get defensive. At the end he simply walked out, no goodbye no let us know if we can help, nothing. We will be seeking medical care elsewhere. Ignorance, disrespect, rudeness, lack of cleanliness , and ineptitude have no place in our medical care.

When we got to the appointment they said oh sorry, we have asked them to change the address on the discharge paper work a hundred times. We drove all the way in another direction to get to the appointment. When calling to talk to the office manager she was located back at the riverside address, not in the office and they would not take a message to have her call me back unless I gave her all my dads information. Unbelievable!

Due to this the staff sees me often. I am always impressed by true effort. True effort makes me pause and reflect and Miss Erica in the front desk caused me to do that this week. I have been waiting for a document and her genuine servitude made me feel seen. Every time she saw me she would check (3 times a week), message the doctors or nurses just to make sure it was done. When it was finally done it landed on a day that I didn't have an appointment and she called me to let me know it will be sent to me. Its the little moments and seconds where someone can make an impact, and this wonderful lady did just that. Thank you Erica, you are delightful and worth writing about.

Please avoid Dr. Pria Persaud from the behavioral health department…read more She does not know what she's talking about When it comes to medication management. Her medical staff is no better. Cassandra was no help whatsoever. She only reinforced Persaud's maligned direction on tapering my medicine. I am currently tapering off Sertraline (Zoloft) after being on it for 14 years. I wanted to taper off very slow (all current research strongly suggests this). Persaud wanted me to taper off within a month! That is medically reckless. She obviously has never heard of B.I.N.D. or protracted withdrawal syndrome. Tapering off at the rate Persaud wanted me to risks terrible withdrawals or temporary neural injury. She doesn't know what she's talking about. On top of this, she wouldn't prescribe my medicine in lower doses (25 mg tablets and liquid) which is what I'd need to taper off slowly. It takes 2 seconds to Google this information or watch YouTube videos from Dr. Josef or Angie Peacock. Persaud is going to hurt someone or put them through hellish withdrawals having people taper that fast. Especially individuals who have been on their psych meds for a longer time. Avoid her!
