This is one of my go to spots when the car needs some tlc. They normally do a great job washing but if there are spots that still come out dirty you can let the attendant know and they will send you back through for a second scrubbing. The prices are good starting at around 6 and maxing out at like 30. The attendants are all super friendly. Sometimes the vacuum hoses work and sometimes you gotta move around to find your special hoes. read more

I debated the 4 or 5 starts, but the convenience is so amazing I have to go all the way to 5. I am the worst at keeping up with getting my car washed, so when it hits me that my car is filthy, or I will be taking people in my car, I need to be able to stop what I am doing and get my car washed. That was my situation today. I drove to Mister right after work and was happy to see no line. The price for a basic wash is about $10, so you can't go wrong. The employee was super welcoming and then said the best thing ever...the car wash was not going to cost me anything. Their system was down. I offered to pay with cash, but he said they were allowing everyone a free Titanium wash. That's customer service!! The stars aligned and it was my lucky day. My car got sparkly clean, and I took a few minutes to vacuum out the inside to make it look nice for my guests I was taking out later that night. That air spraying gun is my absolute favorite part of the car wash and brings me a lot of joy. I love seeing dust fly out of the weird places in my car that I wouldn't be able to reach any other way. I've been an unlimited car wash club member for a few years now. I started off a regular car wash member, and then i upgraded to the lava car wash member. I love Mister Car Wash. I love being able to go to any MCW in Bakersfield at any time I'm able to. I think the staff is so friendly. There is always one and sometimes more than one staff member at check-in waving and ready to help if needed. I just don't like the beginning of the tunnel where the staff member waves us to move our car inside the tunnel. I always feel like I'm too close to the car in front of me. I don't like how close they put the cars inside the tunnel, I don't know if its just me. The wash itself does a good job, I drive a black car, so I feel like black is always a bit dusty no matter how many times I wash it. Also, because of my black car, scratches are noticeable on my car, and although my husband claims it's because I wash my car so often, i believe it is inevitable. read more

I went to Mister Car Wash to have my car washed (1) time in April for $11.00 and some change. This car wash doesn't except cash so I used my credit card. I was checking my credit card account today (5/14/26) and noticed that the Mister Car Wash on Panama illegally charged my credit card for an automatic monthly fee of $22 on Mother's Day (5/10/26) this transaction wasn't authorized and how dare you take advantage of your customer personal information and use it to your advantage? Because of what your company did I now have to wait for a new credit card because this act is considered fraud. Is this the reason your company stopped excepting cash so that you can take advantage of people. I'm very disappointed in your actions, you have a great car wash that I was pleased with but now I need to find a car wash that takes cash because your company has taught me that some people can't be trusted with your personal information. I used to go to mister car wash until I had an incident there and they basically said it was wear and tear. They don't appreciate the customers property and find any way not to pay for damages. I went through the car wash and the spinning brush tore off my side emblem and was stuck in the spimning brush and kept spinning hitting my car scratching the whole drivers side. Who knows how long the emblem was stuck on the brush. Probably hit the side of the vehicle behind me too. I went and told the manager on site and they basically said it's wear and tear that's why the emblem fell off. Not cause the spinning brush pulled it off the vehicle. It still has part of the brush on the emblem. And they don't want to take blame of their machine damaging my car. Last time I'm going there and cancelled my other cars memberships too. This is my favorite location. The other ones get backed up because the cars don't have enough of a fair entrance. So if it's busy everyone is mad about whose turn it is! Including myself. Every time We come To this one the staff horrible this time The guy was staring off in space and our car has to be hand scanned and he stood there with a stupid look on face (sorry but really get people that live there job). Unfortunately, I found that my experience just as bad as most reviews from the past few months. If I would have looked on here prior to stopping I would have went elsewhere. When you get to the kiosk they still don't take cash and force you to use a card. I was in a fairly long line that went quick because they are just pumping cars through. Went to the vacuums after and they had almost no suction. Seemed to be an issue with everyone around me complaining of the same thing. I did a quick walk around my vehicle and it seemed the sides were clean but the windshield, front, and hood that were still dirty. They let me go again after asking a worker. Quick & easy. Just drive through, choose your wash, pay using a credit/debit card, then drive through. Once your through the car wash pull up to the vacuuming station. You vacuum your own car. Trash cans are available for trash that needs to be emptied your car. The vacuums are powerful. If I'm being honest, I miss when Mister Car Wash was Cruz Thru. Still the same friendly service, but the quality of wash was better when it was CruzThru. Each Mister Car Wash is different and driving what some may refer to as a clown car (Ford Fiesta), the brushes don't always hit my car. I've found the best location for a small car is the Calloway location. The unlimited membership is worth it for $20 a month, paying by the wash is costly. After coming here for a few months, I decided to purchase the unlimited monthly membership. I was assured that cancellation would not be a hassle. Staff that I encounter during my quick visits are friendly and helpful. I've never experienced a long line, but I make sure to go at non peak hours. My car doesn't come out 100% clean, but I don't mind doing a walk around once I'm out which I think is a good habit to get into to check for any damage that the machine may have caused. read more

The idiot driver behind me either stepped on the gas or didn't put it in neutral. I dunno what happened but it was definitely not my fault. The car wash attendant ran over to me and I said "Did that person behind me hit me?" She said "Oh no, I stopped her before she hit you" I kept saying "No, I think she hit me!" "No no no" Well she was lying. My car had damage to the bumper. Not enough to file a claim against them or the other driver but enough to notice. We have a membership to this car wash and we've gone to this car wash plenty of times but this time went horrible. As soon as we got in the car wash it didn't feel as smooth as normal and we felt the car shaking and the steering wheel was turning all the way at one point. As we were about to come out of the car wash I saw through the side passenger window that there was a car part dragging on the right side. As we got out the car wash I moved the whole bumper to the side so other cars behind us wouldn't run it over. I didn't check the front of the car till we got to the vacuums and that's when I noticed that it was our front bumper that had came off. We had no previous car accidents to the car so for this to happen we were shocked and upset. Definitely be careful coming here because we assumed we were fine considering we have a membership and always come but all it takes is one time to ruin it. read more

My husband got his truck washed at the Mister Car Wash on Buena Vista and paid for tire shine but noticed the machine wasn't working. He mentioned it to an employee and she apologized, let him run his truck through again (which was pointless), and didn't give a refund. This wasn't sitting well with my husband, so he drove to the Mister Car Wash on Gosford and spoke to the manager, Julian. I have never written a review but this really deserves it. I went in for a carwash for my new car that i just got a week ago. I went to walgreens across the road and i noticed that there were scratches on my car that werent there before. I called and they did a incident report. They called me a couple days later while i was at work and when i called them back it went to voicemail that had a full mailbox so i couldnt leave a message. I called the next day and they told me they couldnt share MY information until the general manager came in. I then called later on again and they dismissed my report because the scratches were not visible or inconsistent and because my car was a older model. They suggested i went to my dealership to get it fixed and refused me a refund. So i suggest saving your money and wash your own car or get it handwashed so this doesnt happen to your car. read more

Not sure if it's new management but the customer service has gone downhill in the last 6 months. There was a friendly smile to greet you at one time, now it's a bunch of rude young ladies who seem preoccupied. Sadly I have canceled my monthly membership after being a member for the last 2-3 years. That's over 360$ of guaranteed annual loss and with my mouth I can gaurantee it will be far more and by the time I'm done expressing my pure dissatisfaction within my direct circle I can promise it will be much larger by years end. read more

Since the change from Cruz Thru the main thing I see is there are a lot fewer employees. At first I thought this would mean less service but now I realize that isn't the case. There seems to be equal results without the two employees at the beginning of the wash with scrub brushes. Fewer employees means less overhead which results in a benefit to the customers. I now pay $10 a month less for the same service. read more

There should be a less than a star rating for these people. The young men at this location are trained to be rude or are required to be very insolent particularly two of them. One is in Mgmt. and is now at the new location on Ming Avenue; the other guy is just a bit tall, wears dark sunglasses always, has black hair. The male employees at this location argue extremely with customers. The two I just described are especially notorious when either one of them is stationed at the wash entrance. These two always mess with my car wash and I never get the platinum wash I pay for monthly when either one of these two is at the wash entrance. Understandably, the equipment does malfunction sometimes and not all the components work sometimes. Talk about being absolutely insolent, there is no need to define the word once you set your eyes on either one of these two. Was not impressed. I went today to get a car wash, first one since change of ownership. First, prices have changed. When I asked what the difference was since last ownership, she stated that the three bottom ones were the same as last time. The $18 one was a new and improved and it does an extra wash. My car was dirty so I thought what the heck, it needed the extra wash. Paid it. She even tried to sell me the monthly special. No thanks, let me try this bad boy out. She said have a nice day. I asked if it was suppose to come with an air freshener or anything. She acted irritated and said, " I can give you a trash bag, but nothing else." UUUUMMMMM, I just paid $18 and you can't give me a .50 air freshener (being generous on how much I'm sure it costs). What ever, there's more important crap in this world to worry about in life besides a silly air freshener that only works with heat, right?! So I drive around... the attendant made sure I was right up on the truck before me's ass. I kept trying to wait a few second to give space. Nope, they weren't having it. Again, what ever. I'm thinking at this moment my car is going to love me. I mean, I just paid an extra amount of money for that "extra new wash." Driving thru... waiting... waiting some more waiting, and even waited some more for that new extra awesome car wash... guess what.... it was the same as when I paid for #1 car wash at Cruz through... but I paid more for NOTHING. I felt the sorrow from the car and I felt gypped. MY CAR HAD THE SAME WASH for more money. Not only did I pay more for the same car wash, with no extras like a air freshener, no extra wash- the damn dryer thing at the end wasn't even working. Next, I go to vacuum my car out and they are not even working that great. I half ass vacuumed my car and left. Unfortunately, I will not waste my money (even if it was only a measly $18) again at this place. I can get a better wash from my power washer at home or even better yet, the car wash from a gas station. I know I'm just one person among all your customers, but it was disappointing when you're paying more for the same wash- if not worse.
