I have not had an issue as some other people have had in the past, always well and efficient. I only have two complaints, one is the rims, they don't seem to get them very clean I always find a lot of dirt still left on the rims and have to clean that out so they don't corrode. Second is spraying the overall vehicle down before going through the tunnel, my wheel wells never get sprayed out and are left dirty after the wash, and the paint to never seems to be power washed off either which could cause major paint scratches and such things like that. Otherwise I'm very pleased, and the membership is very much worth it as somebody who likes to keep my car clean. read more

So I took my 2019 F150 thru the car wash and it ripped my left mirror off my truck the mgr was nice took pictures and info said that someone would get back with me and to get a estimate for a a new mirror for the mirror went and got 2 I waited for several days heard nothing from them I reached Out to the mgr with no reply so I went to the ford dealer bought a mirror and installed it myself 2 days later I received a call from the mgr said they would pay for it I informed him that i had fixed it because it was causing scratches on my door and to just send me the money seeing how I replaced it now they refused to pay me for it read more

Don't go and get your vehicle washed there the two scrubbing brushes were off like they should be for my jeep and then the last upper brush they call the dry and shine come on grabbed my light bar broke the bar and I just about got rear ended by the car behind me and now they say it is not there fault. I have been told if you get rear ended by a vehicle behind you because of a machine failure on there behalf they're still not a fault and the two cars involved need to make claims with each other car insurance. Went to Mister car wash on Euclid Ave Bay City MI, on Jan 14 2026 had the worst customer service because my payment hadn't posted to their account yet my bank said it was in process. She was very rude. I have been supporting the car wash long before it was Mister carwash. She told me to pull up and leave , while radioing to here associate she's going to Wilder road in a very snotty manner, once I arrived at Wilder Rd I was treated the same way. I have been a member of the carwash for over 20 yrs. always giving a generous tip to show my appreciation. Used this car wash and ended up with thousands of dollars worth of damage. Dents, scratches and chips around my entire vehicle due to a car part being stuck in one of the brushes. The wash stopped briefly but was turned back on by an employee and continued to damage my vehicle. Was told they would pay for repairs but only from an auto shop that they suggested and for a price they approve. . I will not be going back, to say the least. read more

My Boyfriend went through the wash a few weeks ago, when he exited the wash he noticed something hanging from the top of his car. He pulled out of the way and got out to investigate and realized that a piece of stripping had been torn off and was dangling from the top of his car. Was getting a car wash at Mister where the vehicle in front of me unexpectedly stopped at the exit, leaving me insufficient space to stop without colliding. Consequently, the driver behind me struck my car, resulting in damages amounting to $2,000. (the incident was not his fault). The attendant advised against involving the police, stating they would get the necessary information from the driver who had stopped (they left the scene). I was unable to get the information myself due to "confidentiality' claims. After several discussions with the car wash management (both local and corporate), they refused to provide any details and I ended filing a claim with my insurance company. As a result of that, my insurance premium increased, and I had to cover my deductible. I am currently pursuing a small claims action against the car wash to recover some of the expenses incurred. There is a single car wash next to the Mobile McDonald on N. Tuscola Road - I will be using that from now on. read more

I used the one on Wilder today hoping maybe they got the kinks out. I asked the money guy had they improved any? He said they used to be fire house car wash and the owner retired and sold it and then they upgraded. I wanted to say you mean you downgraded. But I did not and went through and got my $12 car wash and come out with a dirty car. I really don't want to see any business fail, and it would not be so bad if they weren't the only car wash in town however, they are the only car wash in town and they have not improved. Something on the brushes that cleans the cars , had something sharp and scratched the entire passenger side and they stated it didn't come from there car wash ...... bull crap buddy bad bad business . Consumer Alert: #Mistercarwash on Wilder Rd in Bay City. Everyone that knows me knows I keep my truck in like new prestine condition. Actually it is only a year old so it should look good to begin with. This carwash just scratched 100's of tiny scratches all the way down both sides of my truck. It is very obvious that something is in the brushes because it is very consistant. This is the only place I go to get my truck washed because I pay for the membership. They refuse to accept responsibility for the damage. I strongly suggest not getting your car washed at any Mister Car Wash locations! The managers name was Will and refused so do anything. I used Firehouse car wash regularly. I bought the membership that Mister Car Wash offered and am very disappointed. Every time I've had the vehicle washed (at three of their locations) I'm left with black rubber marks all over the rear quarter panels and rear bumper and hatch. I then have to go home and spend 20 minutes rubbing out all of these marks. I cancelled the membership and won't return. I drive to Saginaw now and go to Fast Eddie's. I would prefer to use the local car wash in Essexville but my vehicle is a 2020 model that I bought in March. I'm not willing to risk damage by continuing with Mr Car Wash. As others have mentioned, only one worker at the beginning to clean the drivers side, nothing on the other side. The vehicle is not even that clean afterwards. read more

This car wash has changed ownership recently and has not considered the prior clients needs important. The improvements have included an inferior wash for more money. There are no more wet towel suppliers around, so this is dropped, and all the typical spots that automated equipment cannot reach like around the mirror surrounds, license plate and tailgate areas are neglected. I hope this owner reads this and makes the necessary changes, or else the new buyers will have to do this as I cannot see them staying in business for long with the lack of traffic at these locations and the talk about town. read more

I read the reviews when they were just starting, and had stayed away because of the poor reputation. I had hoped that they got their act together, and decided to give their business another chance since time had passed. I was guided incorrectly onto the track, and a huge chunk was taken out of my tire. After alerting the manager about the issue, they had told me that it was NOT their fault, that the damage was probably done elsewhere, and since I didn't notice the damage immediately, they would not take responsibility. They did absolutely nothing to help with the tire replacement cost. I will never go back to this car wash, and will advise all of my family and friends to avoid this establishment. read more

The staff is great and very friendly, but Mr Car Wash doesn't get your car very clean, and it's pretty expensive. Paid $18 for the best car wash they offered and tipped $5. There's still dirt and bird poop all over my car, and of course there's new scratches in my paint. That's what happens when you rely solely on machines to clean a car, it looks like crap. Very disappointed in the (new) Mister Car Wash. I use to get my vehicles washed every week (when it was Firehouse). I have used it three times now and all three have had the same results, water spots and film left on my vehicles. You have to pull off to the side to dry your car to get them really clean. It looks clean from a distance but when you get up to it it's far from it. What has changed. 1. You pay more if you are a senior citizen (no $1 off card). 2. No wet cloth or trash bag. 3. No free wash after ten washes. 4. Only one attendant at the start. He sprayed the grill windshield and drivers side of the car (no green bug remover used) nothing on the passengers side. 5. (Most importantly) no one at the end to wipe the car off, just a roller that wipes off the hood, windshield and roof (not the trunk). So you pay more for less. If you just want your car washed and you only use your car after dark then you will be satisfied with them. If you take pride in your car this is not the place for you. I now see why they bought all the Firehouse locations. If you want an automatic car wash you will have to use one of their locations. No thanks. I'll go back to the quarter car wash. I have your platinum package, yet every time I go through the wash the rear of my Acadia never seems touched. It's still filthy and the window is streaked up, if clean at all. You need to invest in a way to get the back of the vehicle the attention it needs. I'm not the only customer who has the same issues. Had deluxe membership, went at least 3to 4 times a week, I only live less than a mile away from Wilder rd location, having been in the auto service business for over 40 years I know My truck and it's condition, after being told of issues, I inspected the truck really close, and sure enough small paint chips , that matches claimed problems, Management at location inspected , took pictures, and said he's going to get back to me. Call back said corporate management said it was not going to work with me, or fix anything.. The real surprise was manager at location upon inspection told me we use Paint Bull to fix these problems caused by us! read more
