i attended a birthday party here and looking t the pictures ahead of time, I thought the place was small! Upon entering, I saw it was bigger than I thought. The food was really good and the music was perfect. There was a DJ as well as a group performing live, the music was a perfect balance of disco, rock , and pop. The service in the beginning was good , they set up the drinks and food however after that we didn't see them. There was a charge for the reservation as well as a set price that had to be spent!!! The place was perfect for dancing but being a Doubletree/ Hilton I don't think a price should have been set because we still would have spent money! The vibe was cool. Nice spot for an older crowd. I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone under 45. The live band was cool. They played many different genres. 70s, 80s, a little 90s. Then when the band took a break. The DJ was on. He was ok. He mashed songs to much. Didn't let the songs play more than a verse and let it settle into the crowd. I recently celebrated my birthday at Misty's. We reserved a section of the club for 30 people. It was epic! Chad, the manager, helped us with everything. He was great. So accommodating and friendly. Our server Myeshia was amazing. Very nice and helpful. She always made sure we had drinks and water and was always smiling. She truly cares about her guests. My family also complimented her and her service. I highly recommend Misty's. The staff is great, top-notch, and a live band is always a plus. read more

The place was super crowded... standing room only, a bit too crowded for me. The cover charge is $10 before 7 then $15. Not too bad but we left after about an hour and a half due to the crowd. Ok so my first time coming here with my girlfriend and 6 other couples. We went to go see the Band SOTO, If you've never experienced SOTO try it you'll like them. Ok so after reading previous reviews by other patrons I went here with an open mind to see if what previous visitors were saying was true. So here's what you need to know when you go on a Saturday night. Doors open at 6pm and tables are first come first serve, try to have the majority of your party present so when they so let you in you can just spread out across the tables for the late comers. $10 Cover before 7pm and $15 there after. We had 1 waitress for our large party Taking our orders, she was great!! The food came out in a reasonable time and it was pretty good. The girlfriend and I shared a turkey, bacon and avocado sandwich with onion rings. The DJ was Pretty good at song selection and fading in the next track. So here's my two complaints..... 1. They have signs posted about strict dress code yet I saw a female tonight wearing jeans and black wife beater wearing a back pack. Either you enforce your rule or don't have dress codes 2. You have a mini mart in the lobby, I purchased a gatorade because I need my electrolytes because of dancing and sweating. The security told me I had to finish my gatorade out in the lobby. I saw many delicious looking plates and they have a great variety to choose from. I ordered their bbq burger with bacon and hickory bbq sauce that was delicious and well cooked with nice crisp fríes. I'm only leaving one star because I have to. Recently had two fraudulent charges on my debit card from this establishment, with decent tip amounts included. After talking to management they told me there isn't anything they can do...really. So don't they keep a record of these charges? Wondering if anyone else has had this experience here before? Been coming here for a few years now for the good music and the staff has always been very unwelcoming. On my most recent visit I went on a Saturday night and had no issues going inside. When I stepped out and went back in security stopped me at the door and said my clothing attire doesn't match their dress code. He asked me how did I even get inside in the first place and he didn't believe me when I told him I've been here 2 hours and I had no issues with the lady in the front letting me in earlier. He made a big deal of the situation and was very aggressive. After questioning me for several minutes he finally let me in and told me I need to keep my jacket on at all times. If I'm seen without my jacket on I'll be kicked out. After going back inside I see another security talking to a manager about me and they were watching me all night. I wasn't causing any problems and I wasn't dressed sloppy either. The staff at the door and security at this place have always shown a pattern of being very unwelcoming. I won't be back. read more

Went to Misty's alone on Thursday night. Sat alone at a table near the back, put my jacket on chair and went to dance. When I came back several white men were sitting at my table. They asked could they remain there and I said "yes". They talked and said they were a UPS team staying at the hotel for a convention. Said they were from Montana. I went and danced again but when I returned a white co-worker ( they called her April) was sitting in my chair with my coat on it. I don't know what they did with my drink I had at the table. When I asked April for my seat back she said NO. She was sitting there now. To avoid this escalating into something that could have turned dangerous for her I went and got one of the security guards to get her out of my chair. When the security guard asked April if that was my chair April stated she had never seen me before in her life and refused to get out the chair. I told the security guard to think logically, if April was in my chair first that would mean she let me walk up to her and put my coat on her chair and then walked away? Bullcrap ! Anyway the security guard wanted to move me to another table. None of the men I was speaking to earlier said a word in my defense. That's ok, I'll be going back and this time I won't be so nice to people taking my seat. She stole my seat and security wouldn't do anything about it because she was white and I'm African american. read more

For dress code not having a Collared shirt but dress nice tired of the bullshit with these people and their bullshit dress codes when you're 40 years old and overClothes do not cause trouble people do!
