I asked not to have him do my work anymore and started seeing Dr. Herring instead. On a visit when I was NOT scheduled to see Dr. Woolfolk, he inserted himself into a discussion inappropriately and aggressively, and yelled at me because I was dissatisfied and upset about his poor work and communication. He also advised us to get work done that I later found out was not required. I highly discourage anyone from selecting Dr. Woolfolk as your dentist. You may have to travel a few extra minutes to find another dental office, but you will be saving yourself a huge headache. (Apparently, Dr. Herring is his father-in-law which may be why they keep him around.)

I think that's the only time a dentist has ever called me at home and left me his personal cell phone number to make sure I'm ok! You just can't get that kind of customer service anywhere else. The only thing I wish was different is that they're not a Delta Dental preferred provider plan, although for major endodontic work (root canals) you actually end up paying 50% no matter which provider you use, so in the grand scheme of things I guess it doesn't matter. Like I said, you just can't get this kind of service anywhere else.

Then I get a bill 9 months later because my insurance declined claim even through Aspen dental in Starkville said it was pre-approved (I requested pre-approval). I called customer service and they told me to wait to make payment until they could fix this and Starkville Aspen dental sent me to collections. Stay away from this place. As soon as you walk in the staff is ghetto. That should have been a big red flag. Also should have checked for any board complaints for their dentist. Trash

Sending a message and…read moreallowing the patient to decline or confirm is standard practice at every other doctor's office I've visited. When I did not show up, because I was no longer living in the area and had completely forgotten this office exists, they charged a $33 no-show fee and sent a debt collection agency after me. What a waste of time, all for $33. Sharp and unscrupulous business practices are the name of the game here.
