My sister talked up their frozen matcha here and it delivered! I got the frozen matcha that they are known for and I added a little of the passion fruit syrup which is actual fruit. This was excellent. They also do the traditional strawberry as well. They also had the best cardamom bun I've ever had. Truly a must visit if you live here or you're visiting. The way they do the frozen matcha is amazing. Truly epic.

I should have just gone with my original gut instinct and chosen a hot beverage like Hojicha Latte or something like that. I was sort of thirsting for something cooler for a change though, and the Cherry Matcha Tonic was the first "cool" drink that caught my eye so I decided to go for it. Won't do that again. Everything else was good though. The Sea Salt Caramel Gelato was the star of the show! In the store there's a sign beneath their gelato section that says "Canadian Gelato Champion". I believe it after tasting the Sea Salt Caramel! They had Nama Chocolates too. I was tempted to get some but...only so much a person's wallet and waistline can handle at one time. Will try the Nama Chocolate some other time. You can order in person here, or you can place an "Express" order at the Kiosk. We tried both ways of ordering. Ordered at the counter first and then after finished my Cherry Matcha Tonic decided I wanted to try the Sea Salt Gelato so then tried ordering that from the Kiosk. Most of the parking in this area is paid but I lucked out and got a free spot right around the corner from this place!

I hope this post doesn't give it away and make it way too crowded for me to find a seat next time. There's a steady flow of people visiting the stores while I was there on a weekday between late afternoon and early evening but there's always extra seat for anyone new looking for a desk to work or chat with friends. A few could be better are the pricing and temperature. They offer free oat milk substitute and -$0.35 for bringing your own cup but no more employee discount. And it was so cold in there, I could see a lot of people kept their winter jackets on, I don't think it's a heating issue but the constant windy seems to suggest the AC is on rather than the heater, oh wells Im out of there now. For that reason, unless I'm bundled up, it'll be a hard sale to be back again! I got a hojicha latte and it as pretty good, perfect sweetness and temperature for my cold with no ice. I wouldn't consider it a "traditional" cappuccino, as it was closer to a flat white, but none the less delicious. The cafe is clean and well lit, but unfortunately lacks wifi, so I wouldn't recommend coming here to study/work, but the atmosphere is nice for a quick meet up with friends. You can enter the cafe with a wheelchair, but the space is kinda narrow so there is not a lot of rotation room and might be uncomfortable.
