This is our favorite boba tea place in the Miami Beach area. We drive down from Orlando to get this tea. The cafe has a beautiful California vibe and is very fresh and inviting. We always get the Matcha milk tea, honey milk tea and the Miu's tea with the salted crema. Both are wonderful and we like the option to adjust the sweetness and ice. I didn't give them five stars because the two ladies can be a bit cold, not rude but it's clear they are there to make tea and not pleasantries. An occasional smile would be nice but as long as they keep brewing that fresh tea, we will be back!! read more

I wish I could give this place a solid 5 stars because It really is the best bubble tea in Miami, and I'm a Taiwanese native. However, the last two out of three times I've made the trip to sobe to get bubble tea around 11:30 or so (they open at 11), they have told me they don't have boba ready and that it'll be another hour before they are cooked. This is really annoying because the whole point of the place is BUBBLE tea (as in, with boba), and no, I don't want popping boba or grass jelly, or any variation thereof. Why do you bother opening at 11 if you aren't ready to sell your product at that time? It's not as if 11 o'clock is an early start either. Anyone who knows how to run a business well should know that if you advertise opening at a certain time, that doesn't mean you wake up, roll out of bed and unlock the doors right that minute. It means you get up earlier then that to prepare your shop for opening. It's too bad, cuz otherwise I would really love this place, even despite the exorbitant prices for bubble tea. Honestly, if these people can't get their act together and figure out how to run a business, that, coupled with the prices for these teas, and the rent for a prime spot on south beach, I doubt this place will be around for long. ***UPDATE: per the shop, apparently they don't start serving boba until noon, but if you call ahead to request it, they can prepare it earlier. I love that this place doesn't use the fake powders that most boba places use. Their ice cream matcha is soooo good!! The matcha crema (sea salt cream on top) is also good. Their boba has a very nice consistency. It's small inside but very cute. It's next to Sriracha House. read more

FINALLY quality bubble tea in Miami! I've tried Miu's Milk Tea and the Passionfruit Green Tea, both with boba of course! Their boba achieves that ideal chewy texture but isn't sweetened Iike I'm used to. In fact, I really appreciate that they don't overly sugar bomb their teas! I ordered the Miu's Milk Tea with 50% sugar and the tea itself had a nice mild sweetness, but since the boba wasn't sweetened I actually thought I could have gone for a higher sweetness level. When I ordered the Passionfruit Green Tea, I forgot to adjust the sweetness level, but for the first time at a boba place (and I've had my fair share from Boba Guys in SF to KOI in Singapore), I was pleasantly satisfied with 100% of the sweetness level. The tartness of the passionfruit coupled with the unsweetened boba helped to temper the sweetness of the tea. Will definitely be back! read more

Quality Milk tea with quality boba. What more can you ask for? For the South Florida area, this is probably one of the best. I always order the jasmine green milk tea with 50% sugar. The tea is not too milky like some places and the boba texture is perfectly chewy the way it should be. The yelp check in and 10% off really help the price. I'm deducting a star because I've come here a few times and they were out of boba once about 2 hours before close which was disappointing since the whole point of boba tea is the boba! This shops boba is really so delicious, so the five stars is based off of the taste alone. The service is friendly and their menu options are pretty good. The shop is clean, modern, and really cute. My only issue is it's really expensive for bubble tea. Their boba has a really good texture! Perfectly chewy and not too soft/hard. We really enjoyed three of the four drinks we got (honey milk green tea, honey milk tea, chocolate milk tea). We did not like the passion fruit green tea. It was extremely sweet (even at 50% sweetness) and did not have any green tea taste. It tasted like pure passion fruit syrup with a splash of water. Glad Miami, much less South Beach, finally has a great quality bubble tea place! I had the lychee matcha tea ($5.45, large size) with boba (+$0.50) and it was delicious. Boyfriend had the ice cream matcha and it was even better, perfectly creamy. I dislike desserts or drinks that are too sweet or leave an artificial sweet flavor in your mouth, and the drinks here are neither of those. I am sad to say that we will avoid this place for ever. Perhaps one of my wive's favorite stops every time we visit South Beach. Part of a successful business is not just their product, but their customer service as well. As we usually do after eating dinner, we stopped at Miu's Tea for "desert." This past weekend was no different, however, my wife was in dire need of a bathroom, when asked one of the attendants if she could use the bathroom "because it was urgent" he said "that it was locked, but that he was going to ask." We figured a manager in the back had a key and he was going to open the door. We were wrong, another individual came out and reiterated the fact that was locked and it couldn't be used, I also reiterated that she needed it urgently and to "please let her use the facilities." He denied our request again, adding that they did not have a key, so I questioned him "what if they needed to go" to what this individual answered sarcastically "...we don't..." We left the place in a hurry because we had no time to waste. Thank goodness for the host at the Italian restaurant at the corner, Caffe di Mauro, who, without hesitation allowed my wife to use their facilites. I understand that COVID poses a threat, and some things have changed in an effort to minimize its spread, but a little common sense and good customer service goes a long way, specially for businesses like Miu's Tea. Moved to Miami from the Bay Area in California for college and it was such a huge change from having five boba shops within a mile to only a few in Miami. Boba is a huge part of the culture in the Bay and I can confidently say that Miu's Tea is best boba shop I've tried so far. The rest of the shops make the boba too hard or the milk tea is not made correctly. I tried the milk tea, jasmine milk tea, and jasmine green tea. They were all yummy and I will definitely visit often during my time in college! The boba is the right texture and consistency and the tea is the perfect taste and not powdery at all.
