Cheaper version of Sweetgreen with more variety. I chose to build my own bowl but my friend ordered the pre-made bbq chicken bowl. Both were delicious and very filling. Customizing your bowl is always safe, but my friends bowl was too saucy. I'd recommend going lighter on the seasoning just to be safe

After a huge Korean BBQ last night, I thought about having a light lunch by having a salad...boy was I wrong! I ordered the Orchard from MIXT, only after finishing it did I googled the calories...it was 905 CAL! The lettuce was fresh but not enough kale. There were plenty of smoked bacon bits, sliced apples, and shredded cheddar but not enough avocado slices. Overall, it was a tasty salad, but if you're on a diet, better skip this one.

I sorta just stumbled upon this place during my lunch, I was starving and I had some work to get done. I got the Peachy and I'm not taking about those booty gains haha I got the peachy salad which is a seasonal salad it's great but they hooked it up a lil too much on the salad dressing, next time I'm opting for it on the side. They have a huge array of veggies to add on, you can also pick from some of their great creations, like the Peachy, it's really delicious, peaches are really nice and soft, served with mixed greens, carrots, croutons, the elote is crunchy and savory I'd totally come back and get another great creation!!

Really nice place to have lunch. Customize your salad. You could also get sandwiches here. Very pricy, but hey, it's convenient & in the financial district. Haha. "Fancy." Don't remember what was the name of my sandwich, but it had apples in it. It also comes with a side of salad. Chips is extra price. Came out to $13 something. This place gets very packed during the 12pm hour. The workers are very fast serving everyone. My only complaint, is that, when the line gets full, it's very hard to keep out of the way from each other. So, it's kind of narrow.

I ordered the Beetnik salad with medium dressing. The salad was very good. The price was average for the area and I like the location because it is close to my work. They added the dressing but put just the right amount. I did not wait long for my order and they made my salad right away. I do plan to return in the near future.

MIXT has become a weekly tradition for a few reasons: 1) They offer healthy and tasty salads and sandwiches 2) You can order your food ahead of time (as long as you don't have any special requests) and 3) Portions are generous. If you're in FiDi, this is one restaurant that you'll see every few blocks and there's always a line out the door at lunchtime. My go to items are the Rooster Sandwich and the Build Your Own Salad (which is great if you have dietary restrictions). The Rooster Sandwich comes with diced chicken breast, arugula, apple slices, shredded white cheddar, pesto, and garlic aioli on a soft torpedo roll with a side of MIXT greens. It's the perfect combination of sweet and savory. Plus, it's filling, yet still light. If you want a salad, I would recommend checking out their menu before, because there are a LOT of options and you order "Chipotle" style. The staff at this location were nice, quick, and helpful when we had a large order with special requests. The restaurant was clean and there were a decent number of tables, but could tell it might get chaotic and loud during the lunch rush.

With 7 locations in San Francisco, Mixt has really made a name for itself as a go-to, quick, healthy lunch spot. You can get sandwiches, salads, or grain bowls. They have their options (order there or ready-made) and you can also create your own. They have a regular menu (the Cowboy is a personal favorite) as well as seasonal options (I had the Parker today and it was delicious!). All of the locations are a bit varied in size and line (the one at 1 Market always has a super long line). Only docking one star because it is really expensive. It's easy to get addicted to Mixt, especially because other healthy lunch options are few and far between. They also have a good rewards program. You can use their app to get more rewards, and they also have "Buy 10 Salads, get the 11th free."

I love salad bars and the ability to make your own salad bowl, but why does this place have to be so dang expensive?! I guess you get what you pay for, but still it's salad! Nice convenient walk in SF and there is usually a line out the door at 12pm. You can order their already made salad which is about $11 or make your own. I ended up making my own and the total came out to be $16! Best believe I did not throw any of that salad away! Love their concept and the modern layout, but I couldn't afford to eat here every day. Grab yourself a premixed salad from the grocery store for less than $10 and it's just as good! But if you want to splurge on a salad, this place is where to go!

I love the Maui salad with its butter lettuce, mango, avocado, cherry tomatoes, macadamia nuts and coriander crusted ahi tuna. But WHY IS IT NOW $16?!? It's hard to eat healthy =/

Mixt Cobb Salad ($13.30 Caviar): Butter lettuce, chicken, bacon, blue cheese, avocado, tomatoes, herbs, champagne vinaigrette, no egg
    Elena N.

We got food from Mixt Greens on Friday, April 22nd for our weekly office lunch. They ordered delivery through Caviar. Prices below are Caviar's prices. I got the Mixt Cobb Salad ($13.30): Butter lettuce, grilled chicken, applewood smoked bacon, blue cheese, avocado, cherry tomatoes, savory herbs, champagne vinaigrette, no egg. It was a huge salad full of fresh ingredients. Lots of butter lettuce, but they didn't give us enough dressing for the size of the salad. Everyone ran out of dressing before finishing their salad. I had a bottle of balsamic in our fridge, so I finished off the salad with that. I was starving so the salad was the perfect size for me. I ate the whole thing. Good place to grab salads. If super hungry, this is a nice hefty portion. They pack a lot of greens in their salad boxes.

Amazing food, absolutely excellent table service by Corbin (who was basically a one-man show!)…read more The food was tasty! And special mention to the jerk sliders. Highly recommended. I just felt like some of the entree prices were overpriced. On top of that-I wasnt aware of the 5% SF "tax". Other than that-pretty happy all around. Weird to say it again, but the service was above and Uber awesome. And that is a big deal to me. We were too busy enjoying our food and forgot to take pics

This was a great appetizer to share between 2-4 people. The tofu is soft and chewy while the pineapple is crunchy and fresh. The glaze on top is slightly spicy but pairs well with the sweet pineapple. The portion is a good size for an appetizer and the tofu makes it feel like a substantial dish. - roasted cauliflower (8/10): charred cauliflower florets on a bed of sikil pak topped with pickled onions and cilantro. This was my favorite of the dishes we ordered. The sikil pak is a unique spread that I had not seen before. The main ingredients are pumpkin seeds, tomato, and habanero, with the texture of a hummus but the flavor of a salsa. It is also a good size to share as an appetizer between 2-4 people. - garlic butter udon (6/10): udon coated in garlic butter with macadamia nut crumbles on top. This sounded good but was a bit of a letdown after the appetizers. I was hoping for more unique flavors or textures. An addition of something fresh like a pesto drizzle or roasted tomatoes may have added a boost of flavor and color. - kale walnut pesto rigatoni (7/10): rigatoni with kale and walnut pesto topped with blistered cherry tomatoes. I liked pasta better than the udon. The pesto was creamy yet fresh from the pistachio and lemon. The tomatoes added color and sweetness. The portion is good to serve one person or shared when mixed with other dishes. WOULD I GO BACK? Yes, though I would order more of the appetizers and I liked them better than the entrees.

Pretty bummed about my experience here. This restaurant has so much hype. I see long lines from all…read morethe time, and I finally got around to trying it, and it was just okay. The first time I came here, I got the strawberry matcha latte with my friends. We ordered it via delivery on DoorDash, and I'm not sure if it's just the whole delivery part, but I could not taste any part of the strawberry! It just tasted like regular cream on top. Typically I'm more of a coffee person than matcha, so I'm not a great judge in whether this was good matcha or not. But I guess it did taste ok in my opinion. The funny thing is, my coworker also said the same thing when she ordered the strawberry matcha latte a separate time! Disappointing. A separate time, we also ordered from them via delivery. This time I was eager to try their food items instead, since they have a pretty interesting selection, like those cake sandwiches and various Japanese items. I got the spam masubi, which I thought would be a solid choice. It did arrive warm, but the slice of spam that was in the masubi was so thin! It was the thinnest piece of spam I had ever gotten, and I've gotten spam masubis at a variety of places including ABC stores and other places in Hawaii, and even various stores in the States. The rice was okay, some brown rice thing with seasoning, that was decent but not my preferred white rice. Overall my two times here have been disappointing. I will really never line up for this place in person, nor will I understand why people do.

The texture is perfect and they are so chewy and bouncy. Truly the highlight of the night. For appetizers, we tried the sandstorm calamari and the chicken karaage. The tsukumen was excellent. The dipping broth was packed with flavor and the consistency allowed it to stick to the noodles perfectly. I will note that I preferred the regular chasu over the sou-vide version. Service was good, attentive and food was out fast. Overall, this place was excellent and I will be back. Overall: 4.9/5
