It is a hard decision to medicate a child, and Dr. Fuertes takes parents' concerns very seriously. But the reality is a low dose of a medication can go a long way in helping alleviate the symptoms of a child and greatly improve their lives and those around them. I would follow Dr. Fuertes to the ends of the earth to treat my children, and I recommend her to everyone I know.

We moved 3.5 hours away and I didn't have to change doctors, which we all know how hard that can be once your comfortable with one. If I could give Dr Sternberg 10 stars, I would! He is very soft-spoken, kind, and compassionate and he truly cares about his patients. He asks insightful questions and listens to your responses. Not once did I have a feeling that he was in a hurry. Because of my diabetes, I have a long list of meds. He was familiar with everything on the list and offered insights on how the diabetes meds might be affecting my mental health as well. I was indeed grateful that his first response was NOT to over-prescribe. Several years ago I was a zombie until I qualified for a 6-month study at NIMH, where the list was reduced to one med, with the prognosis that one would be added in a couple years, which happened. Dr. Luisada is in that school of proceeding with "informed caution." His practice is understandably full, but you would be well-served to be his patient.

I felt heard, seen, and felt. She gave good examples and dialogue that I could absorb and understand, which I very much appreciated. I liked that I received a few MP3 audios to continue doing the work, making time to listen 2-3x daily. Even after 7-sessions, I don't feel, just the in-person sessions would have been enough. For the issue that I came in to work on, I'm still working through it. I know every individual is different and hypnotherapy works differently for each person. It's not overnight or immediate for each person to work through things. I think it's good, there is a free consultation initially to see if the relationship could move forward. If you could be receptive, if you're both a good match, if she could actually help you. But then, I was a bit caught off guard with having to commit to a 7-session package, $1225 out the gate. I felt that could have been explained a bit more in the phone call prior to consultation. I like to ease into everything in life and I'm a bit more cautious with taking a plunge, especially with a provider of conscious work. I paid in two installments; I had to leave half as the deposit for the full package to secure that I was serious about doing the work. I had to book my dates right then & there after consultation to secure doing the work sooner rather than later. She gets booked out well in advance. It took a month for me to get the initial consultation appt. Cancelling is not a good idea if you care about doing the work per week or every 2-wks, but if you must, especially on short notice, as long as you can be flexible, she can get you into a slot asap. And she can shift an appt if she gets well in advance notice. Nonetheless, I'm glad I did the work and I had a good experience with Rita. I highly recommend her for hypnotherapy. I appreciated her honesty, practical guidance, feedback, words of wisdom, emoting skills, and choosing to do this kind of work. And I appreciated that she was responsive via email, text or if I needed information.
