I called them a couple months in advance to try and reserve, but that was too much notice. So we had to call them the morning of- but then they asked about a reservation. I told them I tried, but whatever. They still were able to give us a ride from Ft. Lauderdale to Miami for a cruise- but unlike previous reviews of them picking you up at your hotel, they would only pick us up from the air port. Which our hotel was only a 1-2 miles from the airport and they picked up 2 other couples from hotels after they got us from the airport, so I was a little upset about that. When we arranged the transport to the cruise ship we ensured they knew we needed a ride back a week later and they said that would be okay. However they were again confused about our "reservation" when we called once we were off the ship. Although the reservations didn't match up, they were still able to accommodate us and we didn't have to wait long either times. But they wouldn't drive to our hotel and each time we had to go to the airport and get another shuttle to our hotel. So it was just a lot of transferring. But the van was nice and it was $15/person which was a good price. Another problem we had coming back was that I was getting sick in the back- tried to ask the driver how much longer before he stopped at the airport as we were driving within it's roads already- and he snapped at us and said I already told you I can't bring you to the hotel... and my boyfriend told him I was getting sick and needed to get out & asked for a bag and the driver just ignored us and continued on. The other passengers were nice enough to look for bags. It was the worst feeling and very unfortunate how he handled it. I'm sure he would've cared more if I actually threw up all over the van rather than the little bag we managed to find from our stuff. So overall they're a decent company if you can handle the multiple transfers. But I'm sure it also depends on the driver. read more

First they were 25 minutes late picking us up at the airport. The driver off loaded our bag at the wrong cruise line and left it there. When we got out we only had one bag not two. The driver did go back to look, and said he called the other passengers. Then they quit looking called their HQ and they said "hope you had insurance." Say what? You give our bag away and it's our fault? My wife went down to prod them and finally found it. Won't use this company again, but if you do keep an eye on your bags. Update we did not get the bag. The people are so nice and on top of their game. Booked with them a week before our cruise and got excellent customer service! Called the number they gave me as soon as our plane landed and they told us where to go and what to look for. When we came back from our cruise I turned my phone on and James texted me saying to call when we were getting off, he also called me to make sure I knew he was there and again where to go when we got off the ship. I too can reiterate all the other reviews. Excellent communication, nice price and NICE spacious vehicles. There is of course chaos when multiple cruise ships disembark at the same time, and then massive variables like how efficiently you can actually get off the ship and get through customs, and I think these guys do as well, or better, than anybody else. Let's face it, you can only make a rough guess as to when you will actually be through customs and ready for pickup, probably plus/minus 1 hour, so don't expect to be whisked off to the airport minutes after you get out. I experienced some major issues at the airport & decided to make a last minute call to inquire if I could be picked up and to my surprise the answer was yes !! MJS Transportation is phenomenal. We took a cruise and flew into Ft. Lauderdale airport and the Royal Caribbean cruise left from the Port of Miami. I called the driver and he was there waiting. The vans were extremely cared for and spotless. The driver took out bags and placed them in the van. He dropped us off at the Port and then after the cruise I called and he was right there to pick us up. It was just great service and very reasonable. We flew in the same day we boarded the cruise so my stress level was elevated but MJS put me at ease. They communicate very well. read more

Hidden gem. We received text message while in flight about our pick up and a call upon landing. Our driver from FLL to the Port of Miami was Ray. Very professional and courteous. On our trip back from the port to FLL, we had a different driver. The major drawback about our return trip was that the driver was acting as dispatch, talking on the phone and even reading something while driving. I had a semi pleasant experience with this transportation company. A group of friends and I were heading to a cruise that was leaving from Miami. The driver (Don't remember their name) was professional and loaded our bags. While heading to the port, he was explaining the different sites within Miami such as the Trump Towers, KOD, Football Stadium etc. Upon arrival at the port, he unloaded our bags and we proceeded to pay the driver. We were so focused on getting to the ship that we gave him exact change which came out to 60 dollars. After the driver noticed it was exactly 60 dollars his attitude made a complete 360. He began to be rude and slam the doors while saying "No tip!? Usually when you have good service you tip the person. I can understand if it was bad service but No tip!?" Not sure if that is a Miami thing but we really didn't appreciate the attitude that the driver displayed after not receiving a tip which is NOT mandatory but a nice gesture that people do. Completely understand that tips are good but it was unprofessional of the driver to react that way when not receiving a tip. If I were to use this service, I hope we don't get the same driver. That is why I am giving one star. But overall it is affordable transportation from the airport to the port. read more

Absolutely horrible! I hired MJS Transportation to pick my wife and I up from FLL and take us to the Port of Miami on 12/14/2014. We followed their instructions exactly by calling them when we received our luggage. We spoke to one their employees who told me a driver would call us when he was outside the terminal (in approximately 20 - 30 mins). After 45 mins we still had not received a call so we call the office back. There was no answer and it went to voicemail. We proceeded to call no less than 5 times over the next hour - all with no answer. At that point we decided to take other transportation (at more than double to cost). We sent an email to the company asking them what happened. They blamed me by saying I must have called the wrong number. The truth is I didn't and have the phone records to prove it. The company has not responded to me since. DO NOT USE! read more

A very nice Mercedes van was immediately available for us to board when we got off our cruise ship - and 30 minutes later we were at the Fort Lauderdale airport. Be sure to bring cash however...as we were told the credit card payment option "doesn't work well" and it was only offered to my wife after I left to find an ATM in the airport. read more

Very upset with this company! I've cruised several times, this was my first time cruising out of Miami, and my fiance and I were getting married on the ship. I chose this company because they had great reviews. There were about 25 of us that were staying at a Ft. Lauderdale hotel and needed transportation to the Miami port. I emailed the company probably about six months in advanced explaining that this was a wedding and that we all needed to arrive at a specific time and all together. They said they would be able to accommodate this no problem. When the wedding day came, I called an hour in advanced like I was supposed. They were on time picking us up, which is why I am giving them two stars. As we were loading everything into the vans, they said they would have to split our group up to go get more people at the airport. What?? I said I emailed in advanced and was very specific, if we do this we all will arrive at separate times and the other half of the group will be late. The drivers did not care, they said they need to fill the vans. So I called the company, the man who answered the phone said the drivers were supposed to pick up the people at the airport BEFORE picking up my group. When I said this to the drivers, they both started yelling at me. In order to save an argument, I asked if I could pay for the seven extra seats they needed to fill. Suddenly, they calmed down and agreed that would be okay. When we arrived to the port, we expected to give them $117for our two seats plus the seven extra seats at $13/seat. Somehow we managed to give them over $200. I have no idea how. Everyone paid for their own seat and my finance and I were to cover the cost of the additional. Either way, we were already running late and did not want another argument. I think this company would have been okay to go with if there wasn't such a large amount of people that needed to be somewhere at a very specific time. All in all, I should have gone with SAS transportation instead. read more

Today my family and I experienced the worse part of our vacation due to MJS. We made arrangements prior to our cruise to be picked up from the cruise port and be transported to our hotel. However once we found the transportation we were told that MJS doesn't transport to hotels and they would take us to the airport. That's right the airport! Fortunately, my husband had an email confirming MJS not only agreed to bring us to the hotel but they sent confirmation. Then after several calls to MJS while we drove around dropping off other passengers, MJS finally allowed the driver to take us to the hotel which ended up costing us $90 dollars. They said it was a clerical error. SERIOUSLY??? MJS sent an email confirming transportation. That's not a clerical error! A clerical error is misspelling a name or a word. An email confirming arrangements is a legal binging agreement that we shouldn't of had to pay extra for. Then MJS didn't give us a discount or even apologize for their error. I'm completely disgusted and won't do business again with them. I did not like the feeling of being stranded with my husband and two young children. read more

Used MJS transportation to shuttle us from a cruise at port Miami to Ft. Lauderdale airport, and would NOT recommend them to anyone. Pickup was prompt, however we waited an hour at the port waiting for the dispatcher to 'release our shuttle' so we could head toward the airport. The shuttle driver was polite, but wasted an hour of our time on what is expected to be a busy travel day on a holiday weekend. Wasting an hour of your customers time is uncalled for. Driver said "hope to see you again soon" as he dropped us off. There won't be a next time for us. read more

We used MJS based on reviews I read on Yelp and other sites. Admittedly, we were anxious not using the cruise line transportation, but we took a chance because MJS was half the price and the reviews are outstanding. SO glad we made that choice! Brandon was our driver on the way to the ship. I was so tired on the way back to the airport that I forgot our driver's name. Both were excellent. Communication was timely. It was completely stress-free. Both shared info on the drives about the the area. They engaged with passengers who had questions. The vehicles were clean , in great shape (both looked brand new) and well air-conditioned. I would be 100% confident using MJS again and would happily recommend to others. read more
