They've had a year and a half to get their act together and instead things are worse. The bathrooms are astounding. They're right near the ticket counter and naturally the door to the Men's room is propped open. I stood there pissing and could make eye contact with people standing in the ticket line. But I won't complain too hard 'cause the room smelled like you'd gutted a large animal inside it. The smell inside that room with the door closed would have been horrendous. Leg room. None! I'm 5'10" and I had to stand for there to be any chance that anyone could walk past me. And after going back into the theater to get the discount ticket for parking, one machine breaks and the other one says that the discount is no good. Awesome!! What a treat been to some theatres in Paris but this one takes the cake. Beautiful art surrounds you which makes for a excellent evening. Seats and cinemas are clean. Only thing is that is very warm In the theatres like sweating warm if u leave your jacket on but other then that you're safe to say you will have a fantastic night here ! read more

I agree with Gabriel's review. MK2 Bibliothèque is one of my fav theater in Paris. I always liked the Mk2 at the Bnf. I like the (movie themed) shop inside, I like the food-trucks outside. But I've never been there to see a movie until now - and in hindsight I shouldn't have ... Watching a movie in one of the basement cinemas? Sure, there's an escalator that goes down - the inconvenience comes after the movie when you have to climb 3 Stories without an escalator. Top Tip for Architects: if can only have escalators in your building for one direction - make them go UP, not down. Service wise, there isn't a lot. No control over the seating (some people just block 3 seats with their bags and put their feet up) or people eating food from the food trucks they've bought in. It sure isn't smell-o-vision, it's a burger and fries right next to you and a Kebap behind you! Carpets and Seats are also hideously dirty (I recon because of food being bought in by a lot of people) when seen in light. This cinema also has the worst seats I've sat in in a cinema. Worst. Seats. Ever. Didn't have back pain before the film? You have now! Positives? It's not the most expensive cinema in paris. read more

This is without a doubt the best movie theater in Paris, and it even rivals some back in the United States! Each theater is large, with some downstairs in the basement and some upstairs on the second floor. The concessions stand has everything from popcorn (your choice of salty or sweet) and candy to Ben & Jerry's ice cream. Back in the States, I'm used to paying at least $20 for a movie with popcorn. Here, you can expect to spend only 8€ with student pricing. Score! Seriously, don't go anywhere else for a movie in Paris. read more

Hmmm. This place was touted as a cinema experience - what with the restaurants, the bar, the DVD and movie memoribilia stores, loveseat seating, modern design, etc. However, it left me underwhelmed. The loveseat seating is nice and comfortable, but even though they have American-style concession stands with riduculously large tubs of under-salted and dry popcorn (both before you enter the cinema section and afterwards), there are no cupholders so you'll be doing more juggling your beverage than loving your sweetie. (Seriously, just go French and skip the concessions). The clean lines of the decor are nice but also a bit sterile. The decor doesn't really add to or enhance the experience and seems like it'll just feel outdated and tired in about five years. Considering the number of theaters, there is only one ladies room with four stalls. Perhaps there are one or two associated with the restaurants? If not, then it's completely inadequate as demonstrated by the line I had to stand in post-movie. There were about as many advertisements (not previews, which I actually enjoy) pre-movie as in the U.S. (ugh and bleh). And upon leaving, you're fed out into the restaurants and stores, as if you're exiting a Disney ride. All in all, this venue didn't seem so much like a place designed by someone who loves movies as a place designed by a corporation to generate the most profit possible from the movie-loving public. read more

Great seats, and a nice selection of gummy candy (by the kilo) at the snack counter. Too bad that the new Sofia Coppola flick, "Somewhere," was such a piece of crap. The nice chairs were the only thing that kept me in the theater. read more

It's a good multiplex with many theaters, I've had more than one good evening with friends in here and besides having all the new releases i think it hosted Paris Cinema a couple years ago. The dvd shop is worth mentionning for its rare but frequently incredibly expensive items. read more
