**Before they comment,"We told you we cannot take your case blah blah blah.." that would be a lie...CONSIDERING they were planning on sending me the email with all of the needed information..If they can't take a case then they should EXPRESS THEY CANNOT TAKE YOUR CASE instead of leaving you hanging thinking otherwise..Child custody cases is not something to take lightly when it's having to do with kids.** This establishment should receive ZERO stars to be honest. I was needing an attorney for a child custody case. I ended up scheduling a Consultation & spoke to an attorney. I explained to them everything that had happened & why I was being served. The attorney stated she would be more than happy to represent me & that she would email me the forms over as well as the fees ( they offered payment plans ) & that I would need to send her my statement. Days pass by & I receive no emails..called & texted no reply..Then I finally receive a text message saying," I will resend it once I am back in front of my computer (still driving back from court sorry for the delayed response)".....still DID NOT RECEIVE AN EMAIL...Day passes by again I reach out receive another response," Ah sorry! There was some issue with our crm/email that was causing a glitch (IT is admittedly not my area lol) but it should be fixed in about 30 mins they tell me and I'll send it off".....I did NOT receive an email....I waited for 2-3 weeks for an email that I NEVER received....I needed to submit a response in a week or less.. I eventually called them in tears, they didn't seem to care..This case is having to do with my child & it's not something I mess around with...I eventually gave up.... Called another attorney where they stated,"Why would you wait this long to respond or try to submit paperwork?" Little did they know that I was waiting for this establishment to send me an email with information.. I ended up going through Prep Xpress & HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!! My case has been closed as of Monday 09/18/2023. This place is full of sh*t, I definitely don't recommend coming here.. ( I attached messages of me reaching out multiple times. I absolutely consider Harmony our Attorney Angel! I was referred to her while trying to get some Family Law attorney recommendations for a child custody case that was getting increasingly unfortunate and ugly. Since I was recommended to her on Facebook, Harmony reached out to me via Messenger the same day I was given her name and offered to meet with us. I let her know that we had a court date coming up fast (one week out) and there were pages and pages of Declarations that I wanted her to review IF AT ALL POSSIBLE. Truly, I didn't at all expect her to take me up on it, but she asked me to email her all the docs (100+ pages!) and said she would review them before we did the free initial consultation with us. That alone would have been enough for me to worship her, but what she did next was the kicker. SHE GOT BACK TO ME AND INSTEAD OF TELLING US HOW TO RETAIN HER SERVICES, SHE TOLD US EXACTLY HOW TO FILE AND WHAT TO SAY IN THE RESPONSE. Her reasoning was that she didn't see the sense in us spending more money on an attorney when we could file the response ourselves prior to the court date and have the same outcome. I was hesitant because child custody is a very emotional issue and we didn't want to "mess up" in any way representing ourselves in court, but she literally told us how to word things, what forms to file, HOW to e-file and what to expect. She even advised us on how to format it so we would have a "guideline" of sorts to reference in court if we got tongue tied. I was SHOCKED, in a good way. Finances are important to everyone and can be overwhelming when dealing with legal issues, but here was Harmony, encouraging us NOT to spend more than necessary, while also explaining exactly how to do that. Crazy! Court went very well, and we are 1000% convinced this is because Harmony walked us through everything. With her advice, we were able to concentrate and speak more about moving forward for a child than about bashing anyone. She is ethical, kind, not at all judgmental or arrogant, and above all, HUMAN. Such a good, good, GOOD human. I would absolutely recommend Harmony to anyone needing assistance with any sort of Family Law case (I know she also practices Personal Injury as well!). I can't speak for everyone's situation, but my experience was more than I expected. I initially was going to do my own case given I had my own experience but when it comes to my son and the outdated laws in the court system, I was actually blown away with the care Harmony put into my case. I pretty much hit rock bottom, lost everything due to my sons mother who lied, I had to lose everything to gain everything back and could not have done it with out Harmony's help. I enjoyed that she talked to me and kept me updated, making sure to tell me if I'm doing something wrong and guiding me in the right direction. Everything turned in my favor. Give her a shot. She's managing partner I believe and she has a system down to get documents to her quick. She's ahead of her time and sometimes these processes are slow processes - if you are the type of person who doesn't understand how hard it is to be an attorney, needs someone to talk to you like you're a child, then don't go with her. But if you want an attorney who actually shows you tough love and believes in you, stick with her. She will communicate. She does her damned best and I was impressed. If she doesn't get back to you in a day, three days or at the end of the week, she has court dates. Some of the negative reviews I just want to say they're probably the person who lied. I stake my reputation on Harmony. She is a powerful attorney not only in the making, but she knows her stuff. I have personally sued and have gone pro-per (that means I did it myself and trust me it's a hell of a lot of work) - she knows what she's doing . Give her a shot. She's in hunting beach and she was the attorney I hired and the sheer fact I am a male and she is a woman, that showed me she is unbiased. honestly I thought I would get lucky with this company, I didn't. I had my consultation and then never heard back with the promised fees and other things. I've been waiting on them for a couple of weeks, even expressed im Trying to do things in a timely manner and now I need to rush a file without their help. what a disappointment, I texted, emailed then twice and called. heard nothing back. Don't waste your time. -update to reply- Instead of emailing you back letting you know they will not be taking your case they just ignore you after promising to send you theirs fees. Would be just simple if they told you they wont take your case on the consultation. Wouldn't that be the right thing to do? I came across Harmony online and everything about her firm and pay structure seemed perfect for me. I recently lost my job and couldn't afford to pay a large retainer up front. Everything looked very promising at first. I filled out the form for a free consultation and received a call from Harmony shortly after. All good! All Great! Fast response. We speak on the phone and she is very reassuring that she will be able to help me. I am going through a child custody case that is very important to me and really needed a solid attorney after a nightmarish experience with my last attorney. She sent me a follow up email with requested documents she wanted me to send. She informs me that she will also send along the "fee form" for me to sign to get the first payment going so we can start the process. I send her all of the documents I can gather and await her reply. Days go by. Silence. I follow up again. No response. Eventually she responds and writes this whole paragraph on how she needed time to go through the documents and how other attorneys wouldn't do that for free like she was doing. Maybe so. But I'd rather an attorney communicate with me rather than leave me in the dark to "go over my documents for free." She finally responds over a week after that last message and asks me to gather tax forms and explains how she understands the urgency of my matter. (My trial was rapidly approaching). I gather the tax forms for her that same day and send back to her. Silence. Days go by. I follow up. Nothing. More days go by. Follow up again. Nothing. At this point my trial is around the corner. Follow up one last time the day before my trial. Nothing. Still to this day - you guessed it! Nothing. Completely ghosted. What this says to me is one of three things. Harmony didn't have the bandwidth to take on another client, she has more important clients she was prioritizing or she just doesn't care. I'm hoping it wasn't the last one by at this point who knows. This behavior is EXTREMELY unprofessional and concerning for an attorney. At any point in time she could have communicated to me that the timeline was too short for her or that she was unable to take on new clients at this time. I put my trial and custody of my child in her hands. And she completely hung me out to dry and created huge problems for me and my case. Please proceed with caution if you are thinking about using Harmony. She talks a good talk but in the end that's not going to help win your case.
