I always find something good here, but I don't necessarily open my horizons with the selection or people around to help.

Craft beer offerings aren't super amazing, but there's still enough to keep the craft beer folks satisfied. Every time I order, I am notified within a half hour that my order is ready for pickup. CBM's not my usual spot, but it's always a fun stop. Beverages from near and far can all be found here, by the case, by the nip, by all manner of bottles. The back wall of this big box-sized package store is a refrigerated case, and aisle 1, as of January 2021, is being turned into a second wall of refrigeration. Woot! I haven't been disappointed by the wine recommendations occasionally tucked between price labels, including a recommendation for Sunset Meadow Vineyards. Chris helped me find a couple light but flavorful brews, and pointed them out in the cold case too. Alas, no more New Britain Bev Mart but at least this store, Middletown, and Wallingford are still around, and I think they've got it all.
