My beef was cooked perfectly and the vegetable and potato sides were delicious. My wife's salad was very good as well. The strangest things about eating in Germany was the fact that they do not offer to bring you water. If you order water, it is bottled or sparkling water and is not cheap. I realize this is a cultural thing so I'm not holding it against them. Even though we did not have kids with us, I thought it was cool that they had a kids play area off to one side that was full of toys and puzzles. If I'm ever in Kiel again, I would recommend Deck 8.
