It wasn't directly through Kaye Financial, but through someone in a high-level position there. The loan was presented as a helpful solution, but the terms were extremely one-sided and ultimately set me up for financial hardship. There was little to no transparency about the long-term consequences. What seemed like a short-term fix became a long-term financial nightmare. When I attempted to renegotiate or seek support, the tone shifted to pressure and threats. I was left feeling trapped and betrayed. It caused severe stress and disrupted both my personal and professional life. It took three separate attempts to find a lawyer who truly believed me and understood what was happening -- and who could prevent them from taking my house. Once proper legal scrutiny was applied, the situation was finally exposed for what it was. I strongly advise anyone considering doing business with Kaye Financial to read every word carefully -- and run it by a trusted attorney or financial advisor before signing. Just because something is legal doesn't mean it's ethical or fair. I hope this helps someone avoid what I went through.

If you want to be repeatedly lied to, then this is the lender for you…read more We dealt with a Nick Churchman. He is profoundly unreliable and unresponsive. We ended up going to a different broker who was infinitely more honest and timely. Homesite Mortgage reached out to us about refinancing, since they were our original lender. Originally, Nick/Homesite Mortgage promised us one very low payment. But he blew up that payment at the last minute because he erroneously under-representing our taxes on the initial quote (by approximately $350 a month). When he gave us the true monthly payment, we immediately backed out. So, we went to a new lender who came in with a rate much better than Homesite's. The story should end there, but... A few days later, Nick calls and says rates have dropped even more and wants to work with us. I tell him we already found a new lender and he asks, if he can match the rate, would we still use him. Since Homesite had all of our documents, I thought the process might be quicker by staying with them so I agreed. Well, Nick says he can match the rate and gives us our payment over the phone. I say, send us the quote and/or proposal so I can see it in writing. But he never does. However, he's hounding me for my credit card information so he arrange an appraisal. To keep the process moving, I give him the card number. He promises me a written proposal in a day or two. Two days later, his office is calling us asking for information to complete the application and I tell them to hold their horses. I still have yet to see a formal proposal or quote. Nick promises me he's secured the rate, but will not send me anything. The end of the month is fast approaching and I ask if we'll be closing soon or if we'll have to pay the next month's mortgage. He instructs us not to pay the mortgage and says the payment will be included in the new loan. I express concern because I don't want any late fees or penalties. He says not to worry. Well, the first of the month comes and goes, and still no formal proposal from Homesite. And guess what? Now I've been assessed a late fee. They have my credit card number, they've verbally committed to a rate, but they won't supply any written proposals/quotes confirming our rate. So I tell contact Nick and tell him to respond by the end of the day or the deals off. He's radio silent. So I contact the Customer Service Manager, who has been reaching out to us about filling out the application, and tell her what we've been through and to cancel the mortgage. This is a VERY shady company. Very shady. Do yourself a favor and find a different lender. I'll be watching our credit card statements closely because I'm certainly not comfortable with the fact that I gave this individual my credit card number over the phone. Stay far away from this company. They're the worst.

I have had several mortgages in the past, and when undergoing a mortgage process today you must realize a lot of documentation will need to be presented to your lender, with that being said I thought that Brandon thoroughly prepared us for the mortgage process. We only had about 35 days on our contract which the seller put in place as a hard line, they were not going to extend ( they told us this upfront). With Brandon's help we moved through the process in an efficient manner, and we were able to close two days prior to contract expiration.
