A very spacious and lovely hotel with a terrific staff. We came into Krakow v ia rail and walked toi the hotel which took approx 20 minutes. It was a beautiful-spacious room with plenty of sitting and working area. There are also plenty of outlets and USB ports next to the bed. Speaking of beds, this was one incredibly comfortable with really nice pillows. It made sleeping really easy. I also limed the ice maker by the elevators. The bathroom was very spacious with a big tub and shower. It really took a big step to get over the big tub. The pressure was good and the water was hot. Made for a perfect shower. We did not watch a lot of TV (mostly in Polish except for the news channels.). There was also plenty of closet space and shelves. This was really a five star hotel. Another highlight of the hotel was breakfast. It is an amazing breakfast with any hot / cold food you can think of. They also make fresh omelettes, french toast and pancakes with a few meats to choose from.. The fresh breads and muffins are also amazing. There is a variety of juices and other drinks. The hotel packed us a boxed breakfast one day which was great... Juice, water and a wrap. The chocolate muffin was also great. The hotel was perfectly located in town minutes from the castle and a reasonable walk to the old city. It was a pleasure to stay here and look forward to the day we come back. Having a place to sit is obviously better. The availability of wine and beer is another obvious plus. Harder to quantify is the love put into the food. It was apparent when Meat & Go was in Kazimierz that they care deeply about what they do. At their new location at Dolnych Młynów the level of dedication seems to have gone up further. Just look at my photos: They print names of their sandwiches on their napkins. I mean, who does that? The pekefleisch and the porchetta are still the headline stars. New additions to the menu hold their own as well. The cow-tongue sandwich, in particular, is to die for. The Hungarian rib "sandwich" is supreme as well--if you don't mind eating with fork and knife. The only unimpressed addition is the goose sandwich. With the skin and a thin-layer of fat, the flesh of this bird just tastes like dry turkey. Dolnych Młynów is presently the trendiest part of Krkaow. If you're one of those people who like to stay ahead of the curve, a visit to the city definitely warrant spending a night or two here. And if you do and you're not a vegetarian, by all means grab a sandwich at Meat & Go. You won't regret it.
