There…read moreis a particular pharmacist there who is a cocky B and it's horrifying to think that this company is completely fine with the staff that they have! I am on a medication that I have to take every single day and I have to take it three times daily, two hours apart! My doctor sends the medicine electronically in the morning every Monday! It's only 11 pills and it takes them 8-9 hours to get the medicine to me and by then, I cannot take my medicine the way I am supposed to! I happen to know that a certain pharmacist there makes me wait on purpose and she also lies constantly! I'll call and ask where my script is and she will lie and say she hasn't gotten it yet and this will be 3 hours after it was sent! So, I'll call my doctor and the nurse calls CVS and all of a sudden, they have my script! The pharmacist will also lie to the nurse and tell her my script is ready, so I'll go down there and the tech will tell me that it's not ready and it could be hours! Hours for 11 pills? Seriously? They purposely make me wait because they do not like me! And no need to call corporate or the district manager because they are just as rude and full of it as their employees! I wish I could go to Walgreens, but my insurance doesn't go through Walgreens and it's really unfortunate that I have to tolerate their treatment! It's not hard to be nice, but these people would rather be rude because why not, right?!? If you are cool with lies, favoritism and waiting ridiculous amounts of time for scripts,then this is the place for you! Oh, and I love how one week they close the inside of the pharmacy and the next week they close the drive thru window! I'd go to the CVS on Main in Mishawaka, but I guess that CVS is just as bad if not worse! The entire staff needs fired and a new staff brought in that knows how to treat people! What a joke though considering CVS thrives on hire A-holes!

The gas prices are typical for the area, and the attached convenience store (Hazens One-Stop) is nice and clean. It has most of the usual impulse items people seek in addition to gas - such as cigarettes, candy, Lotto tickets, pop, snacks, and the like. Very handy. Inside the store there is a Subway outlet, so you can get a quick sandwich...and one that is generally much fresher than the fast-food I've-been-heated-all-day hotdog. A Subway inside the gas station store is a nifty idea. Also attached and on the other side of the building is a real sit-down Italian restaurant - Giannettos. Known for its take out pizza, the restaurant also has a dozen or so tables and a more extensive menu. So you can stop by and fill up your tank and get a pizza to go...very convenient. While this line up of gas, Subway, and pizza may seem incongruous, they make it work. Since this area, in general, and this corner (Cleveland and Capitol), in particular, have not yet been fully developed, these stores are ahead of the curve and ready and waiting for customers. This location is primo as they are within one mile of an entrance/exit (#83) to the Indiana tollway. Come give it a try.

Melissa (sorry a I didn't get her last name) is always pleasant and extremely helpful in person or on the phone. I've stood in line and know first hand customers can be very rude. Another associate , last name Rieth is also always pleasant. Establishment's like this need to keep store shelves filled, medications on hand, cleaned and maintained, even when short staffed without the benefit of cutting back on products or hours to ease the work load. For that reason alone, and many others, people need to cut them some slack and offer some gratitude.
