24/7 pharmacy! This is one of the few Walgreens that has a…read morepharmacy open all day and night! Feeling bad at 4am? They got you. However, I always, always expect to wait at this place. They're always understaffed. It seems like they get the customers who wanna pay with coupons and pennies when I'm trying to zoom in and zoom outta there. Snails pace. The aisles here aren't so clean. The parking lot is often a mess. This location is directly across the street from CVS in the Medical Center, so it's a hotspot for pharmacies. They're probably some of the busiest in town! You can drive behind this WAG to get to the other direction of traffic when exiting / entering. It's not an especially attractive Walgreens either. Meh. It's okay.

For starters, you can rely on the advertised gas price to be five to ten cents higher than any other gas station in the area. Just drive up another intersection to Fredericksburg, and you have another option. Still want to use Valero? Hang a right and on the next corner at Datapoint, there you are. Literally a half mile difference. Interestingly, I went inside to use the convenience store one time on a hunt for chocolate ice cream. Pretty easy, right? Wrong. The building is tiny, and the inside is crammed full of merch- just nothing you're looking for. They didn't have advil to go with my ice cream (hello, menstrual cycle!), nor did they have any grill items (because if I can't have sugar, give me meat!), or regular sunflower seeds (just the jalapeno ranch flavor? Does anyone really eat those?)... but they DID have a ton of boxes in every aisle waiting to be stocked, making my hunt more difficult and potentially dangerous than necessary. When I finally found something to purchase (and I don't even recall what it was, it was so far removed from what I wanted), I went to the front desk and was not spoken to once, aside from being told the total. I think I was grunted at in greeting, and maybe again when I left, but no attempt to say hi, or ask if I found what I was looking for, if I needed any help, or even saying thanks or goodbye was made. I walked in to get an ice cold drink, since we're in an excessive Texas Summer heatwave. I last…read morevisited this store years ago when visiting the hospital, no problem. One type of beverage was out of lids completely. I went to the bathroom to wash my hands. The toilet was filled with urine and water or urine all over the floor. The clerk was on the phone and the other customer was asking for help. Maybe it was was a busy lunch hour rush without common courtesy by patrons. I just left and felt a little nauseated until I hygiene washed and change clothing. I can't believe what maintenance has to clean up. I hope the store can minimize filthy build up. I opted for the Chick-fil-A app drive thru to cool.
