It caters to professional drivers, so there's a nice lounge area to sit and relax and showers available. Restrooms were immaculate; I saw the employee actually wiping down the stall walls. Snack and beverage selections were plentiful, and the hot and fresh foods looked fresh. There was a small selection of plushies too (squishmallows, etc). Tyler at the register was so friendly and hospitable and really seemed to care a lot about doing his job well. Overall, this was a great stop on a long drive. Highly recommend!

This is a gas station. It is pretty hard to a gas station to be particularly bad or good. This one…read moreis annoying because when you are filling your tank some advertising starts yelling in your ear from a scratchy little speaker on the gas pump about some diabetes and cardiovascular disease-inducing stuff you can go in the store and buy. Seriously, I am paying for the gas. This is not an ad supported business! why do I need to suffer through some terrible annoying advertising?

I'm a firm believer in giving credit where it's due and I was very impressed how clean and well stocked this place was the entire time I came in. The staff was so friendly and professional and the didn't even give me the awkward look about wearing my P100 respirator in the store seeing as this far up north not many people are wearing masks. I was comped a shower and all my drinks throughout my visits, which was very thoughtful of Irving's. Also the shower room was impeccably clean seemingly to a very high standard. This is a very well run facility and I thought someone should know. I just want to say thank you to the friendly and courteous staff there for their professionalism and efforts as essential workers during this crisis. I have a few thoughts: Cons: Please, when taking orders, speak slowly and clearly on the phone. Masks will muffle your voice. I don't mind short, direct answers, but I need to be able to hear. Also, it was weird that they didn't ask for my name on my order, but there didn't seem to be any confusion when I got there. Pros: It's a perfectly serviceable Italian, and much to my delight (and since I forgot to ask for extra black olives) what is apparently their regular amount of black olives is my normal (other local shops take note!). One of my pet peeves, however, is having to reassemble my sandwich when I get home so everything doesn't completely fall out. I haven't found a place yet that arranges their vegetables in a way that makes sense and stability in the roll.
