Having never rented a dumpster before, I had no idea what to expect but found that it isn't something accomplished by a simple phone call. What size dumpster is needed, for how long, what you're going to be throwing away, and how much your junk eill weigh are some questions that you will need to answer before being quoted a price. I found that you don't call and speak with someone anymore as most companies want an email, to which they will either respond with a very vague response requiring clarification emails back and forth and on and on and on when 1 phone call and all questions could be answered . That is, if they bother to respond at all. The prices are not competitive at all and can be outrageou!! i sent an initial email to 6 companies. One company was too proud of their dumpsters and priced their way out of the running, one company had zero availability yet it took 4 messages back and forth for me to learn they were booked up for the next month, two companies didn't bother with me and one company just replied yesterday; and then there was Mobile Dumpster! Edward (I think he is the owner) responded almost immediately even though my inquiry was sent after hours. He included his cell number with his reply! (He had me at hello) Since I didn't know what size dumpster we needed, he asked what types of items we were throwing away and suggested the size needed (he was right) . and most importantly, he had the best price and was able to work with my schedule. The dumpster was delivered on time, and Austin was able to drop the dumpster exactly where WE needed it (I've since learned that this is a really big deal)! Now, I imagined that we would have a smelly old dumpster in our yard for a couple of days And we would have to heave our junk over the side. Boy was I ever wrong, a spotless, walk-in dumpster was delivered. Mobile Dumpster made renting the dumpster so easy! If they could just figure out an easy way to fill it up!!!! read more
