Horrible experience. I had an appointment I made with Apple support as iPAD was under warranty. The problem was the power cord would not stay in when it was plugged into the iPAD. Nobody was in the shop when I arrived and waited for 10 minutes for the technician to come out from the back. I explained the problem and he tried to plug in the power cord and said this was not covered under warranty as it needed to be cleaned. I explained I already looked with flashlight and nothing was in the charging port and blew out the port with compressed air and brushed out with soft brush. The technician said it still needs to be cleaned and I had to pay $35 for him to fix it. Frustrated I left and took the iPAD to the Apple Store and the technician took the iPad to the back and did a diagnostic and checked the charging port and said the port was bad and that Mobile Kangaroo should have been able to see this as there was nothing that needed to be cleaned and replaced my iPAD a new one. Mobile Kangaroo completely wasted my time and gas to drive over there. Do not waste your time, go directly to the Apple Store not a third party service provider. read more

This place is a hidden gem! I have an Apple 14 Pro iPhone, and somehow the camera began to malfunction, even though there was no damage to the phone. This place is a certified Apple repair service as well as a repair service for other cell phones and computers. I made an appointment through Apple's customer service and was able to get seen within the hour. The lady who worked that day, was kind and professional, and was able to see that the camera sensor had malfunctioned. She advised that I would be needing to get it replaced. She advised that she would put the order in and call me within the next 24 to 48 hours. I asked her if I would be without a phone during this time and she said no and that she would call me when the part came in. I would only be without my phone for as long as it took to put the camera in. This was wonderful news because Apple said I would more than likely be without my phone for 5 to 7 days or I could submit a deposit for the cost of the phone and they would give me a replacement. Now I don't have over a grand hanging around as a deposit fora phone that has a faulty camera and to get an appointment at the Apple Store wouldn't happen for another two days. So when I got the call the very next day saying that my camera had come in and they were even shocked that it came in as quickly as it did. They were able to see me within the five minutes it took for me to drive over there. It took them one hour, and my phone was as good as new. The gentleman who helped me was professional and nice and thoroughly explained everything that he was going to do to my phone. When I came back to get my iPhone, he had me test it out in front of him to make sure everything was working to my satisfaction. Now while I call this place a hidden gem, it's actually in the BEST location. It's right in between a middle school and a high school for all those kids who forget how expensive phones actually are to replace and need to do a quick repair as well as it's on the ground floor making it easily accessible for everyone and anyone. The store is bare, but clean, the technicians always use gloves and seem to be very respectful with the equipment when it's brought to them. After turning my iPad off, it defiantly refused to turn back on. I've never experienced this so I went online to Apple support and tried every fix suggested, with no luck. I had an appointment today on Sunday, July 13, 2025 in the morning at 8:40am, and I took an IPad 9 with a cracked screen. I made the appointment through the website for Apple because this business is a third party provider authorized by Apple. And when I got there the guy asked me if it had Apple Care I said yes. This tablet is a month old. I saw on the tablet itself and on the website for Apple when I logged on and could verify it had Apple Care coverage. So the guy looked it up on his computer and said it didn't. Is Apple lying or is this guy lying? The IPad 9 on its settings says I have "Apple Care Enterprise" so now I don't know. He wanted me to pay 300 so he could fix it but if I had Apple Care then it would have been 100. So I left. Now I have to ask Apple directly if they can check because the guy at Mobile Kangaroo says Apple is wrong. read more
