For almost eight years, I dedicated my life to helping build Mobile Tyre World from the ground up.
In 2017, I was brought in to rebuild the company's website at a time when, in my experience, the business was largely inactive. After working closely with the owner, I helped improve its online presence and search rankings, which I believe contributed significantly to the company's growth from a very small operation into a business with multiple staff and vehicles.
Over the years, I worked extremely long hours--everyday from early morning until late at night, seven days a week 15 hours a day. I operated under my own ABN arrangement, and in my opinion, the compensation (around $7 per hour) I received did not reflect the time and effort I invested. As the father of two children with disabilities, I felt I had little choice but to continue working to support my family.
My experience during that time was difficult. I felt undervalued, regularly subjected to verbal abuse, and placed under significant pressure.
After leaving and establishing my own business, my relationship with the owner deteriorated significantly. I have made allegations to the appropriate people regarding threats and other conduct that I believe occurred following my departure, and these matters are extremely distressing for my family.
I am sharing this not out of spite, but because I believe people should know my experience.
This is my personal account of the last eight years of my life. I stand by my hard work, my integrity, and my commitment to building businesses the right way.
