Rather, they gave me a biologic shot serum without discussing it with me. I found out when I asked them after the fact. As a result, they billed over $11,000 for two short visits. I was shocked! I called and stated I had not yet agreed and the particulars (cost, side effects, length of treatment) were not discussed with me. I told them two years ago the office worked out the details of my out of pocket costs and I decided against it. The new practice owners said, "We don't do that. We just bill." In their defense (?), at my allergy shot/visit they said there was another program that perhaps I would qualify for and came back 10 minutes later and gave me the shot. I only knew because I asked if that was my allergy shot and then they informed me my protocol was changed! Hope this is helpful in others making a decision.

I do not believe it was a result of the procedure, but it was clearly an ent issue. Remarkably, I believe in violation of the hippocratic oath, I was informed my only option was to see the PA -- who I had seen and was unable to cure my cough and that the Doctor only saw patients for expensive procedures! I left and found Dr. Curtis Emmer! He's my new favorite ENT! 4 other Docs had been unable to cure my cough, but Dr. Emmer did! And he seemed to really care.

He suggested to change antihistamine but never even sent a prescription to the pharmacy. When I called back, his staff said they will hand everything to my sons pediatrician because they will not continue to see him and they can't do refills. I said I understand that but I ask to have the medication at least for a couple of weeks until I see another allergist.
