This law firm and their associates did not appear to take our case seriously on time sensitive matters, lacked polish and professionalism, and managed to take quite a bit of money from us trying to get up to speed and promptly dropped us once we did. In the real world some clients can be a PITA, and we were certainly difficult, but in the world or client service you live and die by your ability to roll with the punches and keep the boat moving. This firm could not do that and frequently passed the buck within the firm avoiding any real responsibility. We never actually got anything done with them, other than lose money. We have had a variety of unprofessional responses from this firm and while apologies were somewhat delivered the reality is they cannot honor continuity of service which is a big deal in the expensive world of law. I would not do business with them again but the feeling is mutual. To each their own. read more

Rich Molsby is quite talented at running up the billable time on the phone. Steer clear of this firm and their questionable practices.

But wait it gets worse! Having stonewalled me for several days, they reached out to me on Thursday to try to set up a "conference." This appears to be a tactic to get me to talk to them without having my own legal representation. They should have known I hadn't had time to find and hire a lawyer. I was represented by MOBO Law--more specifically, Jennifer Schaller-- from April 2018 to July 2018. She was awful--the worst in terms of professionalism, experience, and integrity. I spent tens of thousands of dollars at MOBO Law. I filed a domestic abuse restraining order during this time. Jennifer convinced me to let this TRO go because it could "get (my firefighter ex) fired". Worst decision. Well, no, perhaps that was hiring her to represent me. When I complained about her advice, she told me that she would not represent me anymore--giving me no time to find new representation. I actually have a friend from college who is a DA for Placer. She said that what Jennifer did should be reported. Thats my next step. read more

I made an initial I'm office appointment with one of the attorneys regarding a very important time sensitive custody situation. I was then called and told they needed to move my appt and it had to be moved a week out (knowing my situation). I agreed because I understand mistakes happen. I was also told I could no longer meet in the office due to "construction" on the building and it had to be a zoom like meeting or a phone call. I switched the appt that was a mistake of their own even though the I felt uncomfortable not having the initial meeting in person and it really irritated me. I got the confirmation a day before which was great but the price had gone up 200$. I called and the receptionist said that their rates had gone up and she was getting a lot of these calls. They kept my original price. The day of my appt I called to communicate that I had an emergency at home and I may not make it. I asked what the next appointment time would be and it was a week out. I told the woman I needed to confirm childcare and I would call right back. I decided to keep my original appointment and called no longer then 10 minutes after hanging the phone up and got an answering service that asked a million questions. I finally reached the office again only to be told that within those 10 minutes my spot had been given away and that I told her to "cancel" my appt. I feel that their may be changes happening in the office and I am empathetic about that but it has been a month since my last court date and now I have to find someone new that will take time. My situation is not something that can just wait but hoping I find someone that actually cares instead of just saying they do. Good luck! read more

A truly professional and capable organization. I have learned to appreciate lawyers instead of demonizing them, simply because MOBO Law runs a good business. We had a huge issue with a house we were trying to buy. Our local MOBO office spread out to find the right attorney in their organization. We found salvation in Robin Shofner, a partner of MOBO Law in Sacramento. Robin is aggressive and fought for our rights so we could get into the house of our dreams in a timely manor. Robin is super professional and ultra organized. I was never worried about our representation. We were never over promised...and MOBO never under delivered. I would highly recommend because of the clarity and professionalism of the organization.
