My husband and I never get to eat lunch without the kids, finally we have the time and chose to try out MOD. First employee was pleasant, though she gave me someone else's pizza dough that they changed their mind about. Whatever. Second girl seems to hate her job as she added toppings on, rushing me through choices and annoyed that i was indecisive. It was my first time here btw. We wait at the register, and my husband asks the oven guy "how's the fig drizzle?" . Doesn't even make eye contact and says "I hear it's good". Okayyyyy thanks for offering to let us try it? Absolutely love this place! The fact that you can creat any pizza under the sun without being charges an absurd amount for toppings is marvelous! I am also lactose intolerant, so finding a pizza joint with great dairy free options and cheeses is an added bonus. Definitely my go-to pizza place! read more

I'm not the biggest pizza fan but I loved this place! I love the make your own with unlimited toppings concept, and everyone working there was really nice and helpful! I had a red and white sauce base with grilled chicken, mushrooms, garlic and feta cheese and loved my food and the thin crust! Recommend this place to everyone. read more

was just there the other night to discover that KALAMATA Olives are no longer available. We eat this MOD product at least twice a week and the pizza is usually very good. I get the KALAMATA olives on all the pizzas I order and I always get them in my salads. Since they aren't available any more, we ordered the mad dog, added garlic, basil, extra peperoni, and canadian bacon. no olives. Really, its a totally different product without quality olives. This has been a GREAT pizza place but upper managements decision to make it an online order place is ruining it. The staff are fantastic and work efficiently and hard. But now you walk in and watch them filling orders for people you don't see for quite a while at times. It is silly. There has to be at least one dedicated staff on the line to help people actually in the restaurant. Again the staff are great and working very hard. We went for pizza tonight and I have to say I have never seen it this busy. The five staff people were working like crazy to fill many internet orders and to keep up with the line. They are super efficient and courteous and must have made a hundred pizzas while we were there. We had to wait a little longer but the food was the same high quality and the line moved quickly. This place is great for a reasonable priced pizza that actually tastes good! You can get all the toppings your little heart and stomach desires for the same base price.. And the toppings are actually choices you'd want on your pizza that are above and beyond the basics. I got the mega, which is basically two of their very thin crusts sandwiched together with some sauce and cheese in between. In no way would I describe it as a deep dish pizza, but if you like crust then this is the way to go. It also stands up to a lot of toppings a bit better than the normal mod pizza (one crust). It still remains crispy and wasn't doughy at all. Toppings are fresh and generous. The employees here were all friendly and patient as we made our choices down the line and explained how everything worked since it was our first time being there. The Anderson mill location has a great outdoor patio and plenty of indoor seating too. Pizzas come out pretty quick after ordering. I would definitely come here instead of ordering in from a typical delivery pizza place. You get more bang for your buck hands down at mod pizza. Leftovers taste delicious too! read more

Food what's good, service not at all, the large guy taking our order was super abrasive and rude despite our attempts to be nice and prompt to order to not fuel his bad attitude, the other younger guys had a great attitude and were nice but him and the cashier looked burned out and miserable people. The cashier was also rude and short and when I asked about the free Mother's Day pizza, she got really annoyed and told me she had already removed it from the bill with a bad attitude. Whoa! I visited here about a month ago and finally have time to write this review. All I can say is WOW! The team here is not only very friendly and entertaining, they are quite accommodating. I have Celiac Disease and was hopeful that I may be able to score a pizza along with the rest of my family. When I saw them carefully ladling and spreading the sauce on the pies, I was concerned. I expressed my concerns and was nearly ready to just have a salad when the team stepped up and said they would take care of me. They made me the most amazing pizza from untainted ingredients from the back refrigerator, thoroughly washed a pan for my pizza to bake untouched in the oven, and used a freshly washed pizza cutter as well. MOD pizza, you've made a customer for life. Kudos to you all for your kindness and attention to detail. Your manager should buy you a round! read more

Just moved down the street from here and decided to try this place out today. Had a friend over and we decided on the Mad Dog. On the drive there to pick up the pizza (they don't deliver, Booo) we were joking about how it "better be good to bypass all the delivery places to pick up this pizza ". I chose the larger build your own. Under 8 dollars. The ingredients are fresh, and fantastic. From roasted fresh whole garlic, to anchovies, mild or spicy sausage, canadian bacon, bacon, a ton of veggies, many different cheeses (including Feta) - absolutely perfect. The crust is THIN is well baked (not raw like some). Came in under 10 minutes and was brought to our table from a very friendly person. The place was clean, including the bathroom, the setting is comfortable. You can add as many ingredients as you want still for 1 flat price. Absolutely awesome concept, fresh, hot, and done the way you want. And the larger size was more than enough. This is my new favorite Pizza place in Austin. read more

This place is amazingggggg!! The workers are so funny and entertaining. Its food and a show all in one OMG! I go so often i know several of the employees by name. By far the best employee is Ashlin. She is so nice when greeting people to start their pizzas. Its always a pleasant experience when she is there. Always smiling and laughing. Now... when Hunter is there its a different story. While he is definitely entertaining to talk too he is very weird and kinda slow. I dont know this is just my opinion. No hate. Love this place regardless. Fantastic customer service and fantastic pizza! From the moment we stepped into MOD we felt welcome and comfortable. We were greeted and two different employees worked with us and explained how the concept worked, made suggestions and more. Once we sat and received our pizza, two more employees stopped by our table (at different times) to make sure we liked and were enjoying our pizza (and my beer). The pizza and salads are DELICIOUS. The atmosphere is relaxing. The downside to this location is the employees. They are always in a hurry to get you out the way. I feel rushed every time I come by. I had to tell this one lady to slow down because she was going to fast for me. I also asked if they could please cut the salami before putting it entirely while in my salad and she ripped in two pieces and kept going. I do know customer service is mandatory when running any business. These ladies definitely need a refresher course on providing customer satisfaction. MOD can do better read more

Went in on a Wednesday 645pm typical dinner rush. Felt like I was inconveniencing the employees by me being there. This was the first time I tried Mods and will be the last due to the unfriendly team members. I not only go back to restaurants for the food but for the service. Every employee made the choice to work there no one is forcing them to work in the service industry. So if you hate your job LEAVE. One of the employees called my name incorrectly and snapped right back at me as if they had to win an argument with me. At the end of the day I knew it was my pizza because I was up next and I brought it to the employees attention and they rolled their eyes. If the customer looses at the end of the day Mods looses because they lost the 10 dollars that every other restaurant wants. I'm always searching for alternative restaurants besides my normal fix. My first time coming here and I was extremely let down. I have a small service dog so I always get food for take out or sit on the patio to avoid any issues with the restaurant/guests. Upon walking into an empty restaurant I'm asked if my dog is a service dog which wasn't a big deal. The problem was being scolded by the workers the entire time ordering. I didn't feel welcome and could hear most of the staff talking and pointing at me. I even told them "I'm getting this to go just so you guys know". Everyone who works here is pretty much in high school so that somewhat gets a pass in my book when they are rude, however, the older arrogant woman who's very skinny with black hair and covered in tattoos has no business being in this industry. Not only was she rude and pushy when my girlfriend was ordering but she was like that to the gentleman who came in after. I don't understand why you'd be so annoyed when my girlfriend orders more than 1 topping? I almost told them to cancel my order after how we were treated. Next time I'll take my money elsewhere. My very picky son loved making his own personal pizza with light amount of cheese and lots of meat, and I loved the personal salad choices such as roasted garlic, broccolini, blue cheese, greens, etc.. all tasted fresh and most importantly the garlic was not over-cooked. Great concept. read more
