    Built My Own Pizza
    Jacques I.

Who doesn't like MOD Pizza? Any place that allows you to build your own entrée with unlimited toppings for the same price is a win in my book. I'm glad there's one in the Factoria area for when I wanna get my pizza on. I visited MOD most recently on a weekday for a late lunch and the place was pretty steady with patrons dining in and getting takeout. This location is in the same parking lot as QFC and is next door to the T-Mobile store. Unlike it's other locations, I also saw that this MOD offered chicken wings. When I asked the employee about it, she mentioned that it's currently a test item at this location and one other up north. I built my own mod pizza, with lots of toppings, and when I was checking out, the cakes were looking at me in the eye. And then of course I saw their seasonal cake was a tiramisu one, so HAD TO. Pizza was solid and always like that the mod style pizza is thin crust. But let's talk about this tiramisu cake. It was fantastic! I loved how much espresso flavor I tasted with this dessert. I've actually never had the original no-name cake, so will have try it some time. Overall, glad MOD is in an area I frequent and that although prices have increased since it's former days, it's still reasonable with the unlimited toppings you can build for your pizza or salad. Plus, I love the company's mission in providing jobs to those who may not necessarily be hired elsewhere due to a disability or a criminal record. Everyone deserves a chance! Support MOD.

Shout out to a great crew at MOD pizza this afternoon. After a long walk with the family thru the lake to lake trail. We ended up in factoria this afternoon. The kids pulled us into the MOD pizza. We ordered 3 Mod pizza and the kids picked their own toppings. The staffs were very friendly and patient with them. The most amazing part was that when we picked up our pizzas, they told us they have a special for us. They gave us an extra order of garlic chess stick and gave us all the different dipping source to try! It was such kindness and the kids were thrilled!!! Thank you for the great crew! Such kindness on this special MLK day!!

We came here for lunch on a friday afternoon. We have gone to multiple locations in the past, but this was our first time at the factoria location and we always love MOD pizza since it is a great value and fresh food. MOD was reasonably busy with a small wait. The staff was friendly and greeted us kindly right away. The location was busy, but had ample parking space and has some curbside pick-up spaces right in front. The food - we ordered a custom pizza and an italian chopped salad with added pepperoni. The pizza was GREAT, generously topped and hot and fresh from the fire oven. The salad was also fresh and delicious, but they forgot to add the salami to our order and didn't include the dressing until we realized on our way out and asked. Otherwise, it was a regularly good MOD experience. The ambiance was cute, we didn't eat in, but there was a good deal of seating and the booths looked comfortable for both casual and intimate dining. Overall, despite some missed items, I always recomend MOD and we will plan to be back.

Sunday night after hawks came brought my kiddo in to grab dinner. I went to the greek place, came back and ate my food and she still hadn't been rung up. Two different patrons he gave a discount two, another one for 2 no name cakes and she waited at the til to pay for at least 5 minutes before being helped. She asked for the meal with her Sanpellegrino and he refused to give her the deal. After you gave out deals and cakes you were run to her. Sorry to say won't be back cuz I take this personal. Slow and rude service.

Have you ever seen a show called Cheers, these guys welcomes me just like Norm. Everytime I come into Mods in Factoria these 2 employees always puts a stupid grin on my face everytime they welcome me by saying Jason. Yes the place is clean and tide, customers are being helped in a friendly manner, the food is great but none of that matters if there is no personal touch and these 2 employees knocked it out the park. There's the few and I mean the very few that go above and beyond the he call of duty especially in today's world. To MODS as a struggling person going day to day we are always looking for a better life, KEEP these 2 from looking elsewhere. Thank you the weekly pizza guy and I'm sorry I forgot to asked for their names but I was able to capture both of them in a single shot.

Every time was good. Except tonight 9/14. I feel bad for the worker team. Unstoppable online order while front counter are super busy. Everyone keep complain but the worker also can't pause the online pick up order to clear this oven. We have been waiting for 45 mins just for small mad dog. All crews work hard, management please have a look on what can be done, flexibility or adjust to this routine and response nicely. Thank you we love coming here.

Where else can you get a made to order pizza with as many toppings as your heart desires all for about $10 a pop got an 11-inch pie! It's fast, it's get in and out with some pizza to fill your tummy. Not the absolute best but it's a place that I'll go when I need a fix..

This Mod can be hit or miss. The one in downtown Bellevue seems to be more consistent. I ordered a pizza here and it was cooked badly and burnt.

    Mini mod pizza

This was my second visit to this location for it is 5 minutes from where I work. The first time I came was after work so sometime before 8pm I come in and there was nobody in line however I was given attitude for not Knowing what I want fast enough.. the second visit was today during my lunch. It was slightly busy had a couple, a single person and a family of 4 In front of me. Although I'm unaware of the amount of online orders it still took my whole lunch break for my order which was a mini mod pizza and a side salad.. I did have to ask twice for the salad and when I finally got my order the toppings on my pizza was basically slide to one side of the pizza.. like what the hell. I already wasted my break for this order just to be done sloppy... if I wanted 1/2 or my pizza with no toppings I would have asked for that.

I've never actually dined in here, but I frequently use the MOD app to order ahead and this location never disappoints. They're always quick and consistent with the pizzas they build, plus the employees are super friendly. And since they have a shared parking lot with a lot of other businesses, there's always plenty of parking in case you're like me and you just want to run in, grab your pizza and head out.

The menu is quite small with three cold sandwiches and three hot ones, each inspired by a different region of the globe with the South Pacific, South America and Mediterranean as a few examples. There were two salads listed as well. I've been here twice and both times, when I went to place my order on the iPad, the menu stated they were out of stock for the sandwich that I wanted. However, when I asked the employee, she said that was not correct. So if you see the same message when ordering, it's worth asking about it! During my first visit, I ordered the RENDANG ($14). This hot sandwich came packed with SO much meat! Very tender chunks of marinated beef tasted of coconut, curry and warm spices. The flavor had true depth and I could actually taste hints of cinnamon and nutmeg. Thin spears of pickled cucumber and carrot added crunch and a perfect zing of acidity. They were refreshing and cut through the rich beef. A drizzle of Sambal Terasi (chili) aioli gave it another layer of flavor. Cilantro, mint and Thai basil were all fresh and vibrant. The bread was lightly toasted, being a little crinkly in texture without being harsh against my gums. If I could change something, I would include a couple extra slices of the cucumber to balance out the ratio of vegetables to meat, and add a bit more of the aioli. Other than that, this is a great sandwich influenced by flavors of the South Pacific. My companion got the STEAK sandwich ($15) and enjoyed it. The steak slices were thinly cut and tender as well. They do their beef right! On another occasion, I tried the PROSCIUTTO ($14), one of their cold sandwiches. The delicate layers of prosciutto were placed on top of sliced tomatoes, pickled onion and arugula, all between pressed focaccia bread. Truffle mustard was spread on both pieces of bread, which was WAY too much in my opinion. With this mustard having a stronger flavor, it overpowered the sandwich and made it too tangy, especially in combination with the pickled onions. The menu stated this should include pistachios, but I didn't notice any, and they were all out of provolone, so there was also an absence of cheese. For the prices, these sandwiches are pretty generous in size, so I consider them a good deal, especially for the Bellevue area. The ingredients are fresh and make for a fantastic lunch option. While I wasn't a huge fan of the Prosciutto sandwich, I'd definitely go back again for another Rendang!

I am hopelessly addicted. It is crunchy on the outside, tender chicken, juicy without being greasy and an incredible array of savory flavor it is the best fried chicken sandwich I've eaten. The butter mochi is a "must" for any salted caramel fan. The cake is soft, light, and delish but that caramel sauce is to die for. Just delicious!! I love the cocktails. Yes, they are not inexpensive but pretty much the same price everywhere else on the Island. I find them to be delicious and balanced. They serve a killer Hemingway daiquiri. Our drinks were almost the same price as the food, and the total came out close to $100 (with tip and taxes), not worth it in my opinion. I don't mind paying more if the flavors are exceptional, but here it felt like we were just paying Mercer Island prices rather than for standout food. Crawspace Wings (Garlic Buffalo): The food came out very quickly, which usually makes me question how fresh it is. It tasted like it may have been prepped ahead of time and reheated, then tossed in sauce. There was no real garlic flavor, just standard buffalo. Mac Salad: This tasted a bit off, almost like it had been sitting for a while. I don't mind that it's served cold since that's expected, but the flavor was bland and underwhelming. Bulgogi Tacos: The portion of meat was generous, which I appreciated. However, the meat itself was quite salty. Based on other reviews, it seems like the flavor can swing between too sweet or too salty. Either way, it feels overpriced for what you get. Lilikoi Mai Tai: This drink leaned heavily on a nutty flavor, with very little passion fruit coming through. For an island-style cocktail, I expected it to be a bit sweeter and more vibrant, but that wasn't the case. Overall, it missed the mark and wasn't very enjoyable. I wouldn't recommend it unless you specifically prefer a nuttier profile, similar to a Long Island style drink. Overall, I wouldn't return. The pricing doesn't align with the quality or execution.

In particular, the three amazing, high-quality cheeses they put on their pepperoni pizza is like a symphony in your mouth. I would just avoid adding their olives, which are green, not black, and possibly the saltiest thing I have ever had in my mouth. I doubt a teaspoon of salt would taste much saltier. After choking down one I did not eat any of the others. Why they don't offer high quality black olives, which do so much for pepperoni pizza IMO, is a head-scratcher for me. Though they brew their beer there, and they always have a stout or porter for me--I like to eat my beer with a knife and fork--I've never found it out of the ordinary. A can of Irish Death would be better. It's the pizza I go there for. But though it is my favorite place by far to have pizza, I have a bone to pick about one of the servers (most of their servers are fine): As a former fine dining restaurant server and shift manager, I'm familiar with the Washington state law that allows restaurant patrons to take partially consumed bottles of wine home with them in their cars if (a) it is resealed with its cork, and (b) they keep it in the trunk or other cargo area where humans don't normally sit. And don't touch it until they're parked at home. I'm a light drinker, and one time I only drank about half a bottle of beer. I think it might have been a large bottle, I'm not sure. Wondering if the rule I knew so well for wine might apply to beer bottles too, I asked the server if it was possible to take it home. I supposed that the main issue might be whether they had a way to seal it, since the cap was no longer good for that. He didn't know, and said he'd find out. When he returned, he said no, and acted like it was the dumbest question anyone in the universe had ever asked, or ever could ask. I had a flashback of Dixie's BBQ on Northup way by I-405 (long closed), where surly sarcasm from knuckle-dragging employees was basically a brand. Curious, today I asked Google for help. I learned that the reason it's possible with wine is because there is a special carve-out in Washington state law just for wine. The carve-out does not apply to any other type of alcohol. So it doesn't matter if you can find a way to reseal the beer bottle. Because the carve-out is only for wine, not beer. I doubt that nuance is widely known. I think it's a reasonable question. As a former server, I have a piece of advice for that server: If you ask a question of a coworker, and they answer with sarcasm, you don't pass that sarcasm on to the customer when you pass on the answer. That's bad service. In my 6 years in restaurants, I was asked my share of dumb questions. But I would never have dreamed of letting on that I thought the question was dumb. Because that's an important part of what good service is. But again, most of the servers there are fine.

Located in the Hadley, Mioposto is the best pizza I've eaten in King County hands down. I'm a huge fan of their quattro formaggi, a delightful cheese pizza with lemon zest that makes it sing. It comes with either the olive oil base or tomato base and they both are amazing. The prosciutto e arugula minus onions is another giant favorite of mine. They have the best arugula, a bright peppery type that isn't sharp or bitter. With a little sea salt on top the arugula pairs well with the buttery, savory prosciutto. On the weekends if I have enough of an appetite I order the bacon and egg breakfast pizza which is divine. The egg and spicy base gives a creaminess that is offset by the crunch from the seasoned breadcrumbs. I love that spice. Only thing I ordered I could have passed on was the lasagna. It was solid, but for $29 it didn't feel like it carried its value like the pizza. The portion size was relatively small, the flavor profile typical, and no real wow factor.
