Great pizza place, but unfortunately I had a bad experience. On Friday January 11 I took my daughter to her favorite pizza place. My order came to $26.00 dollars . The next day I checked my bank account they charged me $52 . Now I have to go through my bank and dispute this charge . When asked for a receipt I told the cashier no thanks I wouldn't need it . I came in Sunday night not quite sure about the place, having never been to a mod before. I didn't know how good the food was but I needed a lot of food fast to feed people helping me move. But the staff were super friendly and patient with explaining everything to me and answering all of my dumb questions. I was disappointed when I saw that there wasn't anymore tomatoes but somebody immediately went to the back of the store to cut more! It was three gentlemen working and they all had a great attitude and even offered to help carry my seven pizzas to my car! That's customer service! I just have to say, awesome experience! I noticed this was a new MOD that opened up in my way home from picking up my 6 yr old. Although at first we didn't get the usual "Hi, welcome to MOD!" Maybe because they were busy? The first gal was a bit dry, I asked how her night was going, she said ok. We had to wait for a mini dough to be made, first time experience for the MOD tradition. Other then that, as we went down the line, the customer service greatly improved! When I went to check out I was glad to choose to give this MOD a try Thanks guys and keep it up! This is my new go to spot for pizza. I usually go to Blaze Pizza once or twice a week for lunch at work but MOD is the way to go. Way more Fresh ingredients, way more cleaner and The manager Allen was awesome and made sure we were taken care of our first time here. It's 55 degrees outside...but colder inside Mod. They say it's to offset the oven. Hmm, no other Mod has that problem. Other Mods also have friendly, capable people. Here they struggled to make the buffalo chicken pizza listed on the menu. When I questioned why it had no buffalo sauce, the surly pizza maker said that it wasn't a buffalo chicken pizza because his colleague put onions on it. Whatever. Although pizza was just fine the workers were clearly overwhelmed. The manager was so stressed he was rude to every customer and honestly needs to be talked to. I am so happy there is a MOD Pizza closer to me now! It's really nice inside, has a modern look and is very clean. If you go to DVC, it's pretty close by and is good for a quick, fairly-priced bite to eat. The customer service, as always, is excellent! That is why I love MOD so much, apart from the pizzas. I am a frequent customer of MOD pizza and usually go to the Walnut Creek/ Pittsburg locations. I decided to go here on my lunch break since I work in the same shopping center and the customer service was terrible. The employees all seemed like they didn't want to be there. I asked for a milkshake and the guy rolled his eyes at me and grunted. I tried being polite and was ignored and still given the same attitude. They also burnt my pizza. If you don't like working here then just work somewhere else, don't take it out on the customers. Close friends and coworkers have also experienced the same levels of disrespect and attitude. read more

People were friendly . All selections of toppings more than enough for most ! Crust to me seems to be a weak point. Need to be 1/16 to 1/8 inch thicker.
