I mean I really can't say how amazing this place was. I came here after having a really bad day at work, and they change my attitude around so quickly. From the fresh Caesar salad and the vegan salad that they made our friend, amazing, it was a great night to begin with. We started off with the drink tickets that got us beer and wine! After the beer and wine we started off with the first course which were the three separate salads that we had, and then we got to try all nine pizzas on the menu! And then he said again all nine pizzas! Pizza after pizza that came out came out fresh with fresh ingredients, piping hot, melting cheese, and a smiling staff member! The GM and tiara came around and continue to take care of us time after time checking on us to make sure all was right with all the great food that was coming out! Natalie that at the end of the night we were able toGet a pizza to take home with us! I am excited that I was able to come in here get in line like it was a subway but only 1000% better than Subway because of all of the great ingredients that they had to add to my pizza! I'm obsessed with MOD. It's definitely my all time favorite pizza. I'm so happy they opened close to my hubby's work! I love how cheap it is as each pizza comes with unlimited toppings. The crust is thin, chewy, with a nice crisp. You can make your own or chose from a preset menu. Getting a pizza is relatively fast even when it's busy. Employees are super helpful and sweet as well. Try mixing the Marion lemonade with sprite. Super refreshing and cuts the sourness a little. read more

Very disappointed, found this place on hot and new category on Yelp, got there and was somewhat rudely turned away due to a private 'Yelper' event. Why was there no notification on Yelp or their website stating this. Food looked delicious on their Yelp page but I guess I'll never know as they have now lost my business. Shameful. read more

Everyone has a bad day, even restaurants. Mod Pizza had a very bad day last week and almost ruined any chance of me returning. But I contacted the asst. manager there today (Brian), and he listened and addressed every concern I had, offered to fix the situation, and went way above and beyond what he needed to do. He converted me from a very disgruntled customer to a very happy--and loyal--customer. I'll be returning to this location often as long as he is there--thank you, Brian, for doing customer service the perfect way! This place just opened so naturally we owe it to ourselves and fella McKinniers to check it out. Crazy long line but once we placed our order it was just 10 mins before hot yummies were on our table. Their default red sauce and pesto sauces were great. We got the Tristan and Dillon James. We got to add extras with no additional cost. Great concept and great pizza. The crew here really works and it gets packed. We have been here twice and no disappointments. The mini salad is not so mini and overall has a great value. The pizza crust is thin and crunchy, so if you do not like thin crust ..... move along. I have not tried any milkshakes or the "no name" cake. the cake looks like a gourmet ding dong. Food was decent and the people making the pizzas were friendly but the girls working on cutting and boxing the pizzas CLEARLY hate their job and are miserable. They weren't afraid to let the customer know either. It was really uncomfortable to even ask them to put finishing sauce on the pizza. STRAIGHT UP RUDE! If I could give zeros stars I would. I think they forgot that customer service existed. The girls cutting the pizzas were absolutely horrible. Not only did they have poor customer service but if you request anything extra(like extra bbq sauce ) they give dirty looks, don't even speak slap what you ask for on the counter. Very good pizza! I eat pizza like once every 3 months and I was really satisfied. I like the fact you can pick your toppings and there were no additional charge. Cool new place to visit! Build your own 11" pizza with a ton of options for toppings! I love my crust thin and crispy...perfect! Vegan cheese!! Made my heart happy!! I like the environment, clean and very modern! The staff is very friendly however when went to check out the lady told us Samsung pay would not work. My boyfriend tried to tell her he was just here last week and used it only for her to continually repeat "no, not here you didnt." I finally just held my phone to the register and it worked! I went there the other day to pick up a DoorDash order. And waited over an hour to not even get any food cause the person that apparently ordered the order "canceled it" through the store and not the app it self. And a bunch of other DoorDashers were also there I'd say around 6 people, also waiting on food. This store is so un organized with what they are doing. The guy doing "expo" had no idea where food was supposed to go. And the "agm" was putting pizza in the cooker oven bringing pizza out and no one knowing where it goes. read more

Brand new Mod in the 'hood. Line out the door, very busy. Opening store blues. The product was fantastic. The tables had not been cleaned and the floor was very dirty. The line moved slow but I believe that this is part of the "just opened" syndrome. We will definitely be back and we are thrilled to have them down the street. read more

Today my husband and I tried ModPizza and it is our new favorite pizza joint and it's just around the corner from our house. First of all they have fresh pesto... need I say more. We each built our own pizzas and we could choose as many toppings as we wanted for a flat fee. No extra charge for additional toppings. The crust is very thin which we both enjoyed. They have Rahr and Revolver Blood and Honey on tap. You can have either a pitcher or by the cup. They had a couple bottled beers, wine in a can, and other things. We had two pizzas with plenty of leftovers and a pitcher for $29.00. we will definitely be back. read more

Can sum up this location in one word INCONSISTENT. They are usually very understaffed and it often seems like it is being run by high school kids with no adult around and likely the cause of inconsistent service and inconsistent pizza's. Sometimes it's a great experience and sometimes it flat out sucks. Also I noticed that online ordering is hit and miss (inconsistent) as well. I have about 4-5 five locations that pop up on my app and have never seen any of them unavailable to order from, but have been unable to order online multiple times at Mckinney Custer and El Dorado location. read more

Yum! I went to MOD last night with my sister, my nephew, and my son! There was a HUGE line and we didn't have to wait long! The food came out delicious and for 2 kids pizza's and 2 adult pizza's it was only $36!!! The staff was friendly and there was an overall good vibe to the whole place. and tI hope they open up more locations in the DFW area because it was so yummy! UPDATE: this place is amazing!!! I came back on Friday, 11/2/2018. We have been here for an hour and the line has not let up but the staff are still getting the pizzas out and are extremely friendly. LAUREN, HAAL, and the manager STEVEN particularly caught my eye. Lauren is the one who greeted us and started our order, she had a smile on her face the whole time. Haal is the gentleman who put all out topping on and he was AMAZING! He was smiling and taking to us the whole time, he even interacted with my 3 year old and got him to smile so of course that is amazing in my eyes. Folks there is a new pizza place in town! The concept is great, price is good and the food is delicious! It is the hottest place in town and I say this because the line was long and all visiting stayed because they must have known it was worth it! Highly recommend. holy cow. I really like their pizza. I have been to different locations. this McKinney location off of custer/eldorado is closest to us and next door from where we get our pedicures:) we go often. This location/management/employees/stocking/customer service/friendliness and probably more lack beyond measure. They rarely have plates, parmigiana cheese, pepper flakes out and accessible. wine/beer/drinks in the case are always missing/lacking and the beers -two beer taps are rarely working. the guy tonight gave zero f's about customers/his duties/or other employees. after our pedicures next door, my husband came to order while my daughter and I finished up. I got there 8 minutes later and they were waiting on their order. I grabbed a bottle of wine and waited for someone to ring me out. and waited. and waited. and Zero acknowledgement I was there. Another guy came in with a to go order issue, and they could not have cared less.. finally the girl swamped, assembling pizzas acknowledged I was there and apologized, 5 minutes later. the guy manning the stove was a waste. I get it is hard to get and retain employees, but he was worthless and my pizza was toast! over done and this has never been an issue at mod. The iPad machines for payment default to tips? I wait forever for them to wait on me, get my own pizza (which was way over cooked because the dude didn't give a shit) and I bus my own table? drinks were half stocked, pizza was way too over done, no condiments were out nor plates accessible and no one cares. it really is a mess in here. maybe worth driving to the Allen location. we have yet to have a 4 or 5 star experience In the 20+ times we have been here. boo. get it together! read more
