There was a clearance rack of several very nice drapery fabrics for $19.99 a meter. That's $1.07 USD!!! I was beyond thrilled. I bought 8 meters of a beautiful taupe and cream pattern. Then I decided to go back and buy a different pattern because of the extremely inexpensive price!! I bought 8 more meters. I'm going back there tomorrow to see if there is any more, although I'm sure that it will be all sold out. I was there exactly a week ago. I LOVE fabric shopping in Mexico. The prices are so cheap!! I'm making Roman blinds with this fabric. There are several Parisina fabric stores in the area, but this particular one was the only one that had the clearance rack. They had the exact SAME fabric on another rack and it was $99.99 per meter. Not sure why several of these were on the clearance rack. I'm hoping they still have some when I go back.

I had absolutely no reason to come through, but SIL asked if I had time or happen to come by one of…read morethese kinds of stores to find her oil cloth patterns to bring back. (She's a craftsy lady, what can I say!) Hubbers and I came through but didn't stay long. One, there was a long line, and two, it was just too hot to hang around. They had some kind of cooling system but it wasn't really doing its job. So I decided to take pictures, sent it to SIL and for us to pick up when we come back. After doing our touristy thing, getting grub, errands, etc., we come through again as our last stop before going home. Luckily, no line! So with Hubbers' help (staff didn't speak a word of English), he got me the pieces and designs SIL picked out from the pictures I sent her earlier during the day. It wasn't long before we were out the door. Okay first run. Just happy I got what SIL wanted.
