But I really like what Ikea does and I love their design ethic in terms of value to high end, most stuff is usually pretty cool and as long as you don't do an Edward Norton in Fight Club and you have the whole apartment decked out page to page then it's all good. I've gotta say though that I find the food in the cafe becoming a bit too Anglicised/Americanised with less Swedish influence than it used to have. I had to really search for the gravlax and the daim bar cake seems to be getting poorer in quality. Saying that it's not biggie but I hope they do stick to their food values and always sell their Swedish wares!

I only had one item but, because I was paying cash, I had to queue for a 'manned' till behind about 7 people who had obviously chosen today to refurnish their entire house with Ikea goods. They do a huge range of goods all under the one roof at fantastic and sometimes stupid prices. They do food, drink, toys, linen, toiletries, etc all at under average prices. They are the top notch best makes and not a cheap copy of the top makes which makes it even better. The only bugbear is the fact that the shop gets so busy and you end up having to queue for about 30 minutes but with the bargains you end up getting it is well worth it. The store is always nice and clean and well stocked - the stock changes every couple of days too which keeps the excitement factor going too. The staff are nice and friendly usually even when the store is absolutely heaving.

This particular store is located in Forster Square Retail Park. Car parks always busy due to football stadium being close by so foten have to wait for spaces. This store also seems busier than others so can be a lot of hussle and bussle inside and have queued at the checkout for up to 10 minutes on more than one occasion. Bargains to be had for all ages so well worth a visit if you have the time to browse and queue.

They dont just sell to offices though - anyone can go in and buy a piece of furniture. I bought a corner desk unit for my pc and found this shop a lot cheaper than buying from somewhere like argos and the quality is better too. They do all the normal office desks and chairs from swivel to normal and then they also do fancy desks and units and filing cabinets, etc. Their choice is quite good but if they havent what you want ask and they will try to get it for you. Their prices are decent especially for the quality of the products. The store is medium sized and very clean and tidy but there isnt enough room for wheelchair users because it is quite wellstocked. The staff are lovely and friendly and very polite.

Generally the prices are good, and.there can be useful offers on. One time though I wanted to buy a throw, and there was only one left. I picked it up and it was covered in pasta sauce, someone had hidden their rubbish under it and had wrecked it. I went to buy it at another store. I appreciate this is the fault of the customer but if the display had been tidied sooner it would have been cleared up before wrecking the throw.

The level of service we have received from start to finish has been exceptional. Communication was excellent regarding the initial measuring up, to the design, to visiting the showroom to finalise plans and book in the job, to daily updates on progress and plans for the next day and being available whenever required to help accommodate changes. The guys even gave up their Saturdays and worked into the evenings some days to make sure that progress stayed on track. The entire HHI team have been hard working, polite, trustworthy, punctual, reliable, understanding, and accommodating to last minute changes. They really couldn't have done more for us and nothing was too much trouble. The selection of products and services available is vast and the level of expertise you receive is high. Every small detail has been considered and it's clear to see that the team take pride in what they do, they are all perfectionists with a passion for their trades. The quality and standard of finish is second to none and we really could not be happier with our new bedroom, en-suite bathroom and storage rooms.
