This place takes a month or longer to get your glasses prescription. They have the slowest lab ever. However besides that, the doctors and establishment is very nice. Just make an appointment earlier because you'll wait forever to get your glasses. Just would recommend their lab turnover time to be much faster because having us wait a month is to see again is ridiculous. They'll try and sneak an extra $30 charge for a picture of your eyes I find it a bit strange because insurance should cover that if it truly is necessary with the appointment. read more

My insurance abruptly changed while receiving care from Mohave eye center and I was forced to go somewhere else. The staff took the initiative to find me an eye center that was contracted with my insurance and gave me stellar care while I was there. Thank you all!!! The doctors were so smart and helpful and readily available. I am grateful for my time there and wish you guys the best in all future endeavors. Needed new glasses and decided to give Mohave Eye Center a try. Also, I wanted to get all the tests since it had been a few years. So after setting their first available appointments that were a couple months out, I went in for my visit and after doing a few tests and leaving with eyes dialated. A few minits later, I was sitting at Smiths parking lot, debating weather to go do some shopping, when I got a call telling me they needed to set another appointment for a couple days later to do one more test they forgot. So testing winds up taking two different visits. Plus I had to come back third visit to do prescription for glasses. Then I was able to find a nice frame that didnt cost an arm and a leg but was still twice the price as say Costco. It took an average time to get them back. The prescription was amazing. However, the bifocal was placed too high and I have to return them for correction. Very expensive place, as it turned out. Overall I give a 4 as some of the experience was really good but some not so good. read more

I called in on a Sunday, with an emergency and was seen within 90 minutes. I was greeted with a smile by Zac and was seen by Dr. Mills. He did a thorough exam, and showed me my eyeball on a big screen . So I could see my nerves and exactly what was going on with my eye. Between Zac and Dr. Mills, all my questions were answered. Terrible billing and optical center. They over billed my wife and I $80, billing for a higher quality custom progressive lens but delivering a lower quality product. Thank goodness the claims rep at my insurance company caught it and let us know. The office manager claims they would have caught it and corrected it on their own, she stated they double check all billings with EOBs, we shall see. Reviewing my billing with my insurance company, there are other items incorrectly billed so I expect a refund check in the next month or so, but I'm not holding my breath. As for their optical department, they received the lenses back from the lab and wait almost a week before letting us know they were in, and only after I called and left a message asking where the lenses were. Fishy billing practices, terrible customer service and after sales care, I will not be returning here and recommend you look elsewhere. read more

I don't understand the negative reviews. I have been going to Mohave Eye Center in Kingman for the last 3 years. They have been so nice, friendly, and thorough with my exams and needed glasses/new lenses. Yes it takes a while to get an appointment so plan ahead...this is the case with most doctors in Kingman, they are very busy with the influx of new people moving to the Kingman area. I have never had a bad experience at this office and will happily continue being a patient. read more

Horrible rude staff and policies at this office. Wait 6 weeks for an appointment time and don't you dare be 10 min late. They'll run you off like they don't care. Additionally My wife just bought her glasses here and afterwords realized the charged 120 more than a similar location just down the street. That new building must be costing so much there valued customers that got them there don't count anymore. No caring, no customer service just the almighty buck. Don't buy from them. read more

i was looking to get a eye exam, so i made appt. part would be covered by my insco, but the other was not fine. Then i got a call the day before the covered exam infoming me i need a pre auth. my doc was out of town so i told her to cancel that appt and i would get the pre auth when she was back in town. went to my eye exam appt that did not need pre-auth and they tell me they cancelled both exams and now it would be two months before i could get in. they did not seem to care that it was thier mistake. horrible customer service. read more

I have been going here for over 10 years. I have always had positive experiences. Dr. Bergeson is awesome! Very patient, helpful, and explains things. He has fitted me with contacts and glasses and makes sure he gets the fit right. Staff has been very kind, helpful, and friendly. I have had issues with my eyes over the years where I was concerned and they got me in right away. I am very thankful for this office. Wouldn't go anywhere else in Kingman. read more

Very happy with my experience, although I was a bit skeptical after reading some of the previous reviews. I entered the office and was surprised at how nice and up to date the lobby was, considering the rather lack luster exterior. I waited in line to check in and another employee called me back to her window after seeing that the check in process was taking a long time. I was late getting called back but everyone I dealt apologized for the delay. Everyone treated me very well. Was happy and surprised that my prescription had not changed so decided to keep my old glasses. read more

My experience at Mohave Eye Center has been the best of 3 other offices I have visited in this area. I was treated with respect, courtesy, and compassion. The staff were all professional and efficient. I am extremely pleased with my glasses (regular and sun glasses). No need to send them back several times as with the other clinics. Perfect from the time I put them on! Not sure what happened to those who have written such negative reviews. Do not use this office if you value your time. I scheduled my appointment the first week of August for 8/31/2022 at 8:30am. Today, I arrived in the office at 8:05 am to get checked in for my appointment. I was finally called back at 8:45, and spent until 9:08 with the assistants for the pre-check items. At 9:08, they led me to another waiting area and stated that the doctor would be with me shortly. At 9:25, I asked when the doctor would be seeing me, and the assistant I spoke with was unable to provide an answer. I advised that I would be cancelling the rest of my appointment and was led to the front desk. Once there and advising of my cancellation, I was informed that unfortunately all appointments are currently being "double and triple booked", and that the best they could do was to try and schedule me for another "less busy day". I respectfully declined and left. If you are an individual who works, or has valuable time, this is not the office for you. read more

Do Not Use! I should have taken the reviews to heart!! Now I have glasses I cannot see out of and Not One Single Person at Mojave Eye Center will even call me back!!! Not only is the $1200.00 USD out of my very broke pocket, but it is seriously hurting my EYES!!! So do not USE! Stay Away! Find a place that actually values you, your patronage, and your eyes!!! I grew up in Kingman and moved to the Phoenix area 10 years ago. But you can't replace what you find at Mohave eye center. Try experiencing big city health care or corporate health care conglomerates just one time and you will appreciate what this company offers. Trust!!! They are owned by young men with the highest integrity and ethical standards. I gladly pay my bills and wait my turn because I know that the care I receive is second to nobody else in the business.
