I was greeted promptly and asked to take a seat as everyone was busy helping others. I was waiting a maximum of 5 minutes before they called me up. Between the time I walked through their door to walking out of them, maybe 15 minutes had lapsed and much of that time was due to just chit chatting while they worked. I found out they also help people apply for copies of birth certificates (because most states require notarized documents), which was the purpose of my visit. I spoke with Mike and was able to get his help walking me through the whole process. He was so friendly & helpful. He was kind enough to just charge me the exact fees that Los Angeles County (CA) was charging for my certificate. I told him I didn't have much leftover after that and just having paid my rent, so he didn't charge me for the notary services! He told me its normally only a $10 fee for it, and it isn't much, but still...I'm not trying to take advantage of the nice guy with the big heart. :) Please visit their website and see what they're about. PS. If you plan on going to their office, I suggest you call first. Otherwise, it may be difficult to get someone. The amount of available staff depends on the day of the week.
