When I decided to move forward with the job I contacted Eric for scheduling and was told I would be placed on the schedule, likely for later the following week. The next day I inquired about the scheduling I was told "maybe today". I explained that I would not be able to do it that day as I need to be home from work and get cash out, and was then told again later the following week. I was told he may be out of town and hoped to be back Wednesday so I continued to wait on a scheduled date. Fast forward to the next week. Wednesday evening I still hadn't heard anything and inquired again and was told "tomorrow afternoon". Luckily I was able to be home from work and agreed. Fast forward to the day of the afternoon job, I inquired about an ETA at 2:15PM as I hadn't heard anything. At 5:04PM I finally received a response that they were finishing up a job 30 mins away and would head towards me. I advised it was too late to start the job then received a call at 5:30 explaining that it's still afternoon, and they want to cut and trim tonight and then come by in the morning to haul. I explained again I was not comfortable with the job starting so late, after the planned time, with no communication, and that I did not want it done in two separate days especially when I could not be there in the morning. I received an attitude, and was told their job went long and they had other priorities this weekend, that they will work just fine without my "supervision" and that i might need to go with someone else. I later received a text explanation explaining in a more pleasant way what exactly happened that they accepted a change in the job earlier in the day which caused it to go longer. This company would probably still have my business if there had been some communication earlier in the day. 2 stars for extremely poor communication and lack of respect for the schedules of the patron.

Craig (owner) came out and surveyed our property and listened to our concerns about large limbs that have grown out over our roof, and the roofs of our neighbors' houses on each side. He came up with a solution that would leave us with plenty of shade in our yard and remove the threat of roof damage to the three houses if we get another hurricane or high wind storm. His crew came out on the appointed time and day with all the equipment they needed. They went right to work and removed the problem tree limbs and trimmed the remaining ones to maintain a good shape and provide shade. Part of the crew was trimming while the rest were removing the cut limbs out to the chipper. When they finished with our five trees, they were life in a health condition, with a good shape, and all the debris was removed. I will use ALS again in the future for landscape and tree work and would recommend them.
