Horrific customer service since they've been bought over by Microsoft. Copy and pasted responses via email and closed tickets to meet unresolved issues. Will never purchase another Microsoft product again. Not even worth a star. read more

I love Minecraft but I HATE the company who makes it. The customer support doesn't work at all. If they had a phone number then I wouldn't be complaining. I have waited about a year to recieve a reply at customer support, yet I have only recived one reply saying that I will have to wait again due to problems with responding. That stupid reply also said to not say anything back or they will not be able to reply at all. I saw the text in tiny print after I sent my reply. Personally, I think that they should be fired and replaced soon. For Michael B: Notch made Minecraft, not Mojang. Mojang only updates the game. Also, Wii U isn't compatable with bedrock platforms. read more

Bought Minecraft years ago and recently wanted to try to play it again, only to find my account has been stolen. After putting in a ticket to customer support and waiting approx a month and half, no response other than them letting me know they recieved my ticket. I followed a link in a confirmation email that they sent me, where I learned that they are currently working on tickets from well over two months ago. They gave some pretty awful excuses as well, citing that their customer service agents are often busy with school because I guess Mojang can't afford or doesn't see the need to hire actual employees? They clearly can't afford to provide help for their paying customers, so they're obviously not a company worth giving your money to if you intend to actually use the product yourself. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever encountered, mostly because it's nonexistent. read more

Yet another month passes and still no reply from minecraft or mojang. I still do not have my account back even though i have the info needed to prove i own the game. I do have my transaction ID from paypal but it does no good if they wont even respond to tech support emails. :( read more

A god awful customer service experience. Emails are limited to once a day (typically early morning) and never on weekends. They require your original transaction ID (which could years upon years back in your paypal history) and refused to deal with me from an edu account saying it would create the same problem when the problem was not being locked out of my edu account, rather the problem was Mojang's emails just weren't getting through. If any other company could provide this service for Minecraft, I would drop Mojang in a heartbeat. Scrolls deserves every bit of commercial failure it experiences. read more

Sorry for the one star it is not deserved. My daughter ordered minecraft and said couldn't process card. Then we order with a different card. They send a game that will not download and to beat all it took payment off the first card but didn't send the game. So we paid twice for their trash that's useless! I purchased Minecraft from Mojang in approx. 2012 and had only a few problems over the years. Suddenly on February 9, 2021 I was unable to log into my game. I find out I no longer have an account with Mojang, it's been deleted. I received no emails stating that any changes had been requested on my account, I was just deleted. I filed a ticket, sent a reply to an automatic response they sent, tweeted the problem on Twitter. They will not reply so I paid for a game that one day they just decided I couldn't play any longer for no reason. I am a solo player so it's impossible I went against guidelines, I'm in my own world in my own games. So my advice would be DO NOT purchase this game because you might invest a lot of time into it and one day Mojang just decides to delete you and there's absolutely nothing you can do. read more

Completely useless customer support. Submitting a claim will get you a rote letter in response, detailing absolutely nothing relevant to the comments in your support ticket. Responding to the letter is also pointless. I have tried resolving a problem with my account with them for four months to no end. read more

Worst customer service I've ever encountered. They messed up by changing my email address to the wrong one, when I tried to update it on my account. Then when I brought that to their attention, they said I needed my original receipt in order to get it changed to the correct email address. No idea why I needed it for them to fix their mistake and not to change it in the first place. I purchased my game over 10 years ago - I don't have the original receipt. When I talked to customer service about this, they asked for multitudes of pieces of information about my purchase, which I painstakingly researched and supplied, but even after all of that, because I could not remember the exact date that I had made the purchase, they refused to change the email to the correct one. This company is a scam. I called their technical support for Minecraft PE on my Fire TV. Amazon sold me this app through their Fire TV app store. It refuses to install. I found out through the Mojang forums that the software flat-out will not work on the Amazon Fire TV. When I called for support, they were extremely rude and hung up on my several times. They refused to support Minecraft PE at at all, and they refused to refund my money. HORRIBLE TECHNICAL SUPPORT!! OUTRAGEOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Does not provide technical support for their product. Refers you to volunteers working an Internet forum hosed by Curse Gaming. Unacceptable. Only internal contact available is the accounting department who will tell you that they have no access to, control over, or ability to refund you for poor service. Realms will crash every 80 minutes. They appear to instantiate them with a demo key which will expire in 80 minutes. Considering that you're paying $8 a month, you'd think they could spawn you with a real key. Realms are frustrating, unreliable, and crash constantly. This wouldn't be as much of a problem if characters and the world were kept in sync, but the world and player data are separate. This makes it easy to duplicate and lose items. A rollback of your character in the world could lead to you losing all of your items because you come back in solid rock that you had mined before the crash. They provide only limited bug support through JIRA, which is an internal development and testing tool, not a customer service portal. The only response their support will provide you are links to other sites, and half of them don't work. I would actually post on the tech support forums, but there's no login or register button. read more
