It's usually fairly quiet, so it's a good place to get some work done (just ask for the WiFi password), and makes it the go-to place for a lunch meeting. The manager is friendly, welcoming and attentive. My only gripe is that they just take cash (at least last time I was there). ... I thoroughly enjoyed my poached eggs with kale and hollandaise. The eggs were perfectly poached, the kale nice and soft, and hollandaise mustardy to add tang to the creaminess of the egg yolk. Jane had poached eggs with smoked salmon, and Oli had the Full House with extra mushrooms instead of tomatoes. There was also a side of beetroot hummus that was a tasty as its rich pink color was inviting. Nothing but happy tongues and tummies around the table.
