A bus turned in to coffee shop. The gals here were very nice and helpful. One of them realized that I didn't like my coffee and asked if I needed it to be sweeter without me saying anything. The coffee price is a little steep, but I thought it was pretty good. I got my iced and didn't taste any sourness to it. I've noticed at other places, when you get an iced coffee, there's a hint of sourness. Parking here was not an issue as it's shared with other establishments. I'm not sure of the time we went, but I did noticed Kauai not being busy at all. Compare to the last 2 times I've been here, this 3rd time, it hasn't been busy. Which I enjoyed. read more

Cute food truck that serves coffee, tea, and bagels. I ordered an iced matcha ($8). The menu says it's ceremonial grade. It was unsweetened, which isn't bad but I did wish I ordered it with a little syrup. There's a few chairs outside to sit and wait. This was the second coffee shop we visited while in Kauai and ended up being so close to where we were staying. A converted bus now serving up some great coffee. It was the first place I had a macadamia nut latte and was delicious. You could tell it was a popular spot for locals and tourists alike, but the staff was quick to take orders. My drink took maybe five minutes to come out and the iced macadamia nut latte had the perfect amount of sweetness. I was worried it might be too sweet, but it was just the right amount. We ended up coming here a few times throughout our trip! read more

My favorite latte I had on the island during my stay. I got an iced latte with the housemade macadamia nut milk and it was delicious with the subtle hints of mac nut. Service is positive and drinks are made to order so may take some time if there is a line but I loved the outdoor patio seating. Taking off a star due to the prices not being listed as you end up paying over $8 for a latte. Definitely worth a try to treat yourself to a quality drink from Mokihana. *UPDATE* Okay wow came back and discovered it's 3.25 for the additional Mac nut milk. I waited over 20 minutes for a simple coffee, and when it finally came out, it tasted burnt and watery at the same time. No apology, no effort to make it right. Definitely better places on the island to spend that amount on breakfast. The breakfast sandwich was good, just a bit messy. Matcha was okay, a bit watery. Definitely more of a traditional matcha flavor vs sweet which I enjoyed. Service was friendly and very short wait times. We were told about this place by one of the workers, Jake, while on a sunset dinner cruise. The vibe and aesthetic is so cute and feels very authentic. I got the shaken espresso, which was absolutely delicious! Probably the best espresso I had on my time on Kauai. The Sunrise Sammy bagel sandwich was a great choice for breakfast. Met a couple on our Capt Andy's cruise who work here, Jake and Cheyenne, who spoke super highly of the espresso at Mokihana. I love lighter roasts and was excited to try out a new spot, so my friend and I made sure to stop by. I got an iced Holy Cacao latte - SO good!! The cacao blend was rich and satisfying, and not super sweet at all which I prefer. I also got the garden isle bagel. Hummus and pesto on a bagel?? GAME CHANGER. So delicious!!!
