Four and a half stars! We stopped and ate here after I saw a hashtag online.....and we were pleasantly surprised. New, clean and tasty! The decorations are nice,...lots of lights and what appears to be Mexico City pictures. We shared the parrillada with no sausage. The beef , chicken and shrimp were all flavorful and deliciously tender. The little sauces that came with them were fresh and complex... full of roasted chili taste. This meal also came with a chille relleno that was quite a surprise and a big hit with us. It was a poblano pepper stuffed with beans and topped with cream and cheese. Really I could make a meal just out of that alone. The meal also came with beans and rice which were both pretty good. But the meat and the Chile relleno were really the best. We also ordered the guacamole appetizer and although it was very small it was delicious. A little too spicy for the kid so maybe if you have kids ask for the spicy part on the side. But if you like spicy don't skip it ...because it was a nice roasted spicy sauce. And the thing I didn't see here ? Tons of cheddar cheese... a la Tex mex. Which we loved !!!!! There's enough Texmex around. The mango lemonade was refreshingly mango, it tasted like liquified mango (which is a good thing if you like mango). We need to try the mango margarita next time. The bill was a little pricey... but it was worth it because of the quality of the food and drinks. Nothing tasted stale or like it was sitting around for days. The sauces were really good, like someone took the time to roast the Chiles, tomatoes and other aromatics. It wasn't very full when we went but they do have a Valet service. Maybe they get full at night ? I hope so because we will come back!! New favorite spot :D Oh the kid ordered the quesadillas but we had enough food in the parillada for all three of us to share. When they recently open , so good but now it seams like they do not know what are they doing .do not take me wrong but I order chilaquiles and when eating found a piece of whatever Hard plastic could it be so , I called my server and told him about it and he said , ooohh it is just some onion ! what ??? that was not a piece of onion...hello ! he toock the plate a way whit not saying anything else, after a feew mts came back to check how everything was ...he asked if we wanted something eslse and we said that ready for the check....guees what !!! no apologies no nothing and the chilaquiles where in the check.... Our drinks came out fast which shocked the hell out of me because drinks usually take forever to come out. Ordered menudo and it also came out fast. Everything was delicious and looked very nice. Only reason I docked a star was because you HAVE to valet and although it doesn't cost anything, it sucks if you don't have cash on you. So bring cash lol also nobody speaks English it appears, we had the whole you speak Spanish I answer in English thing going on lol which isn't an issue if you understand Spanish. Stumbled upon this place and decided to have lunch here. Ordered the queso flameado which i believed to have had, cheese, chorizo, poblano peppers and onions! So worth the try if you never had it. Its probably the best queso flameado I have ever tried! The parillada is always a go to for me when i want to try the fajitas, shrimp and sausage combo. This probably as well is the best 1 ive had to date. My fave part of it was the bacon wrapped jalapeño popper they add to it. I've been twice and have sat at the bar both times. Dont remember the gentleman's name but he's given great customer service each time and I have not been disappointed and will definitely come back again soon! read more

We came to this restaurant because we figured it would not be busy at 3:30 on a Thursday. When we arrived there were two customers at the bar and at least 5-8 people working at the time. Other than that we were the only two people sitting there. We waited for a server to come by but they mostly avoided eye contact while we looked around for anyone who might approach us. It's honestly your average Tex-Mex restaurant, the staff is friendly and you get seated pretty quickly.

AMAZING food and service! This is a relatively new restaurant. We first tried it mid afternoon 07/27/2019 and we LOVED IT!! FYI this is NOT Tex-Mex!! This is an AUTHENTIC Mexican restaurant. This restaurant is the real deal! They have a great variety of entrees. We had the guac as an appetizer, I had the pollo a la crema, my bf had the molcajete, cousin had nachos, and we shared the churros with ice cream for dessert, which a amazingly delicious! The service here was great, but the food was not good. I wanted to like it, but it really was not good. We went for a birthday party so our large party was sat in the side room... which was really too small for the group we had. I figured the staff would have realized our party would be too large ahead of time and either rearranged the room or placed us somewhere else, but nope they just kept sitting us in the side room. The waitresses were awesome and made the best of an crowded space, but it was kinda awkward. We also all had to valet park even though there was plenty of space in the parking lot on a slow morning. Really like this place. A friend took me there for lunch and BINGO, I got new favorite Mexican restaurant. Place is new and so clean. Well lit parking lot in back. I have been back for dinner and lunch, a few times. I enjoy the large margarita. I am working my way thru the menu, and nothing has disappointed me so far. We couldn't be happier with our visit. The food is familiar but nuanced with a contemporary approach. We tried the green chicken enchiladas and fish tacos and they were outstanding. Everything was fresh and we were given plenty of sauces to compliment our entrees. Waitstaff was friendly and provided answers to all our questions. We ordered flan to finish off our meal and it was such a wise decision. It was full of flavor and reminded me of a rich and delicious cream brûlée with a Mexican twist. My friends and I dined here for my brother's 22nd birthday and we both had a great experience. The wait for our food was minimal, we had a very attentive waiter who provided us with amazing customer service, and the food was delicious! Found this new restaurant in the Pleasant Grove. Always wanted to stop by since it opened, we went ahead and tried it to get out of our routine. I was very much impressed with everything. Great service the wait staff helps each other out like a family. The restaurant is very modern and impressive. The restrooms are clean. The host was very happy to see us seated us right away, wait staff came to take our order fast, our food came out quick. The food was great ordered chilaquiles, menudo, huevo chorizo, and kids meal chicken nuggets, all was exceptional. This place has a bar very good looking one.
