I arrived at 11:00 at their posted open time to get a take out order for a group meeting at work. (Actually I was there 10 minutes before 11:00). As of 11:15 they still hadn't opened so I went next door to Casa Tequila. Unfortunately many customers had already come in and I had to wait for my order and the meeting had move on with no lunch. I completely understand restaurants being short handed. But then they need to narrow their open hours. If they say their open at 11:00, be open at 11:00! If someone had called in sick, put a sign on the door to say closed! read more

Used to be outstanding. Now? Much poorer quality chicken in burritos. Large portion but almost all rice. Sauce is blah and salty . Beans are flavorless Tried them twice in past month. My family of four went in tonight for an early dinner, but it didn't turn out to end early.. It took about five minutes for anyone to even acknowledge that we walked in the door. There was only one other table seated (2people) finally once we ordered it took about 45 minutes for them to bring out our food still only being one other table in there with us seem like they were very short staffed maybe or just hanging out in the back. Waiter was not friendly. Food was Horrible and very pricey. Didn't taste like authentic Mexican food. read more

When you first arrive, ask for both hot and mild salsas to go with the chips. Both salsas were fresh and delicious, neither were too hot. The hot has more of a smoky flavor, while the mild had a fresh taste of veggies. After we were seated, we were kind of abandoned there for 15-20 minutes until the waitress came to take our orders, and there was only us and one other table in the dining area that walked in with us, (we had the same problem last time we ate there, about three months ago). When we finally got our food, it was well worth the wait, everything was delicious and fresh. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a nice, Tex-Mex meal, assuming you're not in a big hurry. read more

It was my first time coming here and never, ever will I come again. First off, the place is dirty. The ceilings are torn, falling apart, and leaking. Second, the food isn't even good. The enchiladas were dry and had no flavor. Also our server had attitude, rarely checked up on us, never asked if we needed refills or anything. It took her about 35 min to just get a box for our table. I've never written a review before, but this was the worst experience I've ever went through. Mediocre Mexican food. Salsa sucks, ground beef in taco wasn't good, my tamale was covered in cheese, enchiladas didn't have enchilada sauce that I could taste. The reason for the two stars is because this restaurant is located in a heavily Hispanic area where mediocre Mexican restaurants have no business being here. It's like going to Little Tokyo and having blasé sushi--no way I would want the best of that culture's food. Advice: call in an order to go at Guerrero's. read more

The food is delicious. The service is awful. The waitresses were pretty rude and every time we try to order an item they were either out of the item or didn't have it anymore. We have to pour our own waters and they take forever to refill our chips and salsa. read more

I and my wife went to this restaurant in march 2014. The service was good and the serveres were nice and polite. the food on the other hand was luke warm and sloppy. it was bland and the drinks were watered down for the cost we paid wasn't worth giving a tip for. the decor was so so and the place was fairly clean. I wouldn't reconmend this restaurant. we ordered the macho barrito and the sauce was watery and the filling was sloppy and bland. read more

We went here on a local recommendation. We ordered to begin with a "large" cheese quesadilla with beans, guacamole, and sour cream. The bill for said quesadillla was $15.75. The quesadilla was a normal size; guac was a meager tablespoon as was the sour cream. The cheese was regular jack and cheddar. I think that pretty much sums it up. We didn't order anything else based on the quesadilla. read more

6 years ago this was the place to eat in Grandview .. Not anymore the quality of food has declined. I ordered pollo asada and got a oil soaked piece of chicken Breast I had to use a couple of napkins to dab off the excess oil. I took a couple bites and couldn't finish the meal it was horrible . On the bright side their chips and salsa and bean dip are delicious . On another occasion I decided to give them another chance I ordered menudo and it was horrible as well. Keep driving there is many other authentic Mexican restaurants in the valley to go read more
