Moleskine has only recently opened retail stores and their beautifully designed notebooks are a constant temptation on my way to my coworking space. Recently picked up a beautiful 2018 planner and am looking forward to using it! read more

St. Michel, my first mistake) and turn right at first block to Rue de St Andres des Art. It is NOT on the street itself (my 2nd mistake) but in passageway Couer de Commerce between #59 and 61. Once you enter, the shop is 10+ meters on your left. It is indeed tiny but a paper lover/writer's haven: journals, day timers, cards, pens & accessories, wooden bookmarks, postcards, wrapping paper et al. My favorite purchases included separate leather cases (holds one pen each) - I got three in red, blue and orange each - a sheave of wrapping paper in different designs and a wood bookmark. Many of the products are beautifully designed and handmade; the owner will tell you which country they are from or made in, The items I bought were from in Italy, India and France. Well worth the effort to find!

Pricing was fine/good. Lots of cute cards and gifts as well as art supplies (I went for drawing paper). Difficile à trouver, mais vraiment adorable ! Prenez la ruelle et vérifiez bien l'adresse, car celle sur Yelp est probablement erronée. La boutique est tenue par une femme très gentille. Les prix sont corrects. If I'm completely honest, I was a little annoyed the way I am when amusement parks have ride exits through the gift shop. It was actually alright since we still wanted to find some gifts to bring home to friends and family. After finding some goodies at Maxime's I meandered by Delfonics window. The weirdest thing happened as I pivoted on my heel and fell right inside the store. Must have been a weird gravitational well and that gravitational well is "Andie is a sucker for stationery shops". They had SO many goodies - great journals, stationery supplies, cool Japanese pens, and notepads. Basically it was a dream within a dream. My daughter is also afflicted with stationery store fever. Let's just safely say that we both found memorable items to take home and use daily which reminds of us the magical place that is Delfonics.

Gibert Joseph is a chain of stores that cater to those seeking books, souvenirs, and agendas. I mean, yes, they have other things, but these are the mains. We stepped in there because it was on the way. My companion was lacking souvenirs, and well, he thought I might find a worthwhile agenda in there. Turns out they had pretty bland-looking agendas and I wound up getting one back in the states. Still, their book selection floored me. They had floors upon floors on books and they had unique souvenirs. I only wish I had discovered this store sooner. I'd probably have bought some stuff there!
